Tonya H. is doing this firm a disservice. Extremely rude, condescending and abruptly hangs up while you are asking for clarifying questions regarding your property. I would not recommend this firm to my dog.

Although it's a little embarrassing to admit, I've been through my fair share of lawyers for the past 17 years. Will has it all. He is reliable, thorough, communicative, knowledgeable, fair, and honest. There ARE good attorneys out there and it's not just about the money for them. When you need someone in your corner who won't give up, you need Will. Will also has a presence about him that commands recognition and respect. He is a force to be reckoned with; just hope he's on your side.

Kyle Frost’s performance on my father’s case was superb. It was done remotely as my father who is elderly had moved 1000 miles away because of health issues and needed help from his daughter. We not only came out smelling like roses but got the justice that was deserved for my father’s divorce case. Kyle literally saved my father’s life. Kyle was very sensitive to my father’s cognitive as well as physical condition. He made every effort to not only explain the situation to myself but also to explain it in a way that my father could understand. We are eternally grateful for his services. His demeanor inside and outside the court room was exemplary. We had contacted a number of lawyers in the Asheville area before reaching out to Charlotte North Carolina. The local lawyers in Asheville would not have worked out and didn’t even seem to understand the case or out of state retirement laws that my father had to bring into play. Additionally the local lawyers are very poor follow up. Kyle’s follow up was spot on. Kyle deserves every accolade as a premier family law attorney. If we could do it all over again we would pick Kyle.

I worked with Zip Edwards from this firm who was hired on to fix my title issue. I have to say that it went pretty well. Definitely better than expected. The big reason why I give her 4 stars is because she was responsive and attentive. She responded quickly to my emails and when all the pieces on who to contact to fix my issues were available, it was fixed asap. Zip went above and beyond to call me and keep my posted on the progress. Thank you Zip Edwards. This process has not been the easiest for me. However, you made it easier by the quick and constant contact.

My situation was due to debt collection. My review however, has nothing to do with that. Margo is FANTASTIC! Very patient and understanding. Tanya really needs customer service training. Anyone calling is or has obviously gone through some hard times. Sometimes people yell and scream. But when you have a cordial gentleman on the phone, just wanting to know who to make a $1000 money order out to. A little class would be much appreciated. I'm glad I'll NEVER have to deal with them again. : )

Will Medlin is/was my attorney at Horack, Talley, Pharr and Lowndes. I was at great odds in my case being that I am from Texas and my custody case was in North Carolina. It was a long draw out ordeal that ended in me getting custody of my son in Texas, thanks to Will. Will was up front and honest with me from the first day we spoke about the challenges that were ahead. I put an immense amount of trust in Will and followed his lead and eventually things fell into place. The custody case was put to bed almost 5 years ago and Will still answers questions as they come up and is still responsive to emails and phone calls. He is an amazing attorney and really knows his stuff!

Tonya Helms is by far the Nastiest paralegal someone can deal with.. First, she started sending me letters to my house to collect HOA dues after i called her to try to make payment arrangements she told me i DIDN'T need to call her anymore that she would be in touch with me... Numerous calls placed to her and she would never pick up the phone the only time she picked up was when i called from a different number that she couldn't recognize... After there was an agreement she sent my payment letters to the WRONG address and i asked her why was my letter sent to a different address... THIS "PROFESSIONAL" person sent me an email saying... YOUR ADDRESS WILL BE CHANGED NOW YOU HAVE YOUR LETTER.. Really??? Did you really skip customer service 101 in class??? Looks to me like you did.. So i hope that now with the attorney fee i am paying your attorney can send you to school to refresh your manners and customer service,,, Remember you have a pay check because of the clients...

Horrible!!!!! The legal assistant was very rude, unprofessional and basically plain old NASTY!! She was not trying to listen to any of my concerns or issues and when I asked to speak with the attorney her comment was that he was just going to hand it over to her to handle. I will ABSOLUTELY NOT recommend this firm to anyone!!!
Also, I WILL NEVER AGAIN buy a property that is associated with a HOA (THEY ARE A HUGE RIP OFF and the attorneys that represent them are NO BETTER!!!
It is all a HUGE money RACKET designed to take advantage of hard working, everyday, normal people.
