Ken is by far the worst attorney I have ever seen. He completely screwed me in a simple case. It was so bad I had other attorneys walking up in the court room handing me business cards. The judge had to object for my attorney at one point and give me guidance to not answer because my attorney wouldn't. I have the court transcript if anyone wants to listen to it before hiring cordell and cordell let me know. Worst firm ever. Worst attorney hands down. His name is ken harris. Stay away from him. He also talked me out of doing something that would have changed the entire case. The guy is horrible.

Unfortunately, I separated from my wife of 18 years. She hired a very tough attorney (who is a partner at a large corporate firm and heads the Family department. I retained the services of Cordell & Cordell, and my attorney was Kristen Leonard.

Ms. Leonard provided absolutely fantastic service. She stood in stark contrast to my wife's attorney, who sent insulting, rhetoric-filled emails, Ms. Leonard helped keep us focused on what was most important. She was easy to reach, incredibly responsive, and efficient. There really isn't anything else I could've asked for. She ensured that the legal aspect was the least difficult part of this otherwise emotional and difficult process. She also helped keep the costs in line by taking the time to go over the entire document with me so I could avoid going back and forth (which ends up costing more in the long-run) and by not allowing us to get caught up in unnecessary exchanges with my wife's attorney (who, by the way, ended up costing my wife a great deal more because of unnecessary engagements). Ms. Leonard was very upfront and transparent about costs and time, so nothing caught me by surprise.

I hope to never need the services of a divorce attorney again (one divorce is enough) - but if I ever do, I would not hesitate to retain the services of Ms. Leonard and Cordell & Cordell. Thank you!

My lawyer did such a great job keeping in mind my goals and standing up for my rights. She kept me from giving in too much, allowing me to have the finances to do things with my boys and enjoy life again. Thank you to the entire team. I would recommend these folks to anyone.

I would highly recommend Attorney Kristen Leonard for professional legal help in a divorce. She was always prepared for our meetings, on-time, and listened intently during our meetings. She always followed up on to-do items and met all timelines. A pleasure to work with a very knowledgeable legal professional.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. After paying almost $20k, I needed to end my association with Kristen, my attorney at Cordell and Cordell. I feel like I did not get appropriate representation at all. Questions were not answered, issues were not addressed with opposing counsel, repeated requests for discovery documents went ignored. I was misled on mediation outcomes and have multiple emails to demonstrate misconduct and negligence in representation. Toward the end, I had to actually point out dates that had been changed by opposing counsel in a document that I was supposed to sign that Kristen did not notice. Clearly, she did not take the time to read documents and ensure that my best interests were being considered. I felt bullied to sign agreements at the last minute that I didn't feel comfortable about signing. I was told that we were "done negotiating" and I "needed to make a decision". I was also given the ultimatum of calling the office by a certain time or the papers would be filed with the court. Thankfully, I was able to withdraw everything and terminate my representation with Cordell and Cordell in time and secure counsel with a different firm. Do not hire this law firm, or at the very least, do not allow Kristen to represent you. I will say that Julie was fantastic to work with and she was on point with answering emails and phone calls and everything that I discussed with her. She gets the one star for this review although she deserves 5.

Kara Goodman and the entire staff were very straightforward and professional. Kara didn't always tell me what I wanted to hear but helped me understand how things actually work and what to expect. Going through a divorce, especially with custody issues, is very difficult and I would not recommend trying to navigate without someone who knows exactly what is going on.
I highly recommend Kara for anyone going through such a tough time.

I gets old hearing their commercials on every break. If I'm ever in the need of a divorce attorney I will use someone else just because of this. I thought Farmers and Progressive (Flo) was bad but they have topped that.
