I'm a little confused by the great reviews. Jhen was nice and Brett was nice, but I don't feel my case was given the amount of attention it should have been given. Gary didn't represent me at the hearing, I never even met him. Everything was so last minute, I didn't even talk to Brett and Gary until the night before my hearing for only 22 minutes. I was just expecting a different experience and I don't feel I was taken care of the way I should have. I have read and been told Gary has a great relationships with the judges but I don't believe he reached out to my ALJ or did a submission of a pre-hearing brief. I get extreme anxiety and may just be over thinking and reading, but I'm not happy. Hopefully I'll get a positive response for my case, but I wish I would have had a better experience.

Update: 9/10/2019
I have called Jhen 3 or 4 time since my disability hearing to check up on things and I always feel she gets irritated and she says "I check the decision board everyday and I will let you know when I get a answer." Well one of the times I called was today because I checked the SSA website for any updates about my case and there was a new message posted on my hearing status: Appeal Under Review

A medical decision has been made and we are working to process your decision. A Social Security Representative may contact you or your appointed representative directly if we need any additional documents or information.

So, when I called Jhen (nervously) to see if she heard anything about my case she gave of course the same answer "I check the decision board everyday" Except this time she added that she will email me if she hears anything and she doesn't know when she will check the decision board today.. Well that just wasn't good enough for me today I decided to actually call Social Security myself and I got a actual response about what is going on in my case! Apparently my ALJ made a decision August 21st and my decision is now with the writers.
Just wanted to let people know REAL experiences dealing with the Gary Brown crew.. I feel as if since my hearing has happened I am just a annoyance to Jhen and am being brushed off.

Update: Did not win my case

A previous reviewer discussed that he did not hear from Gary, this is true. There is not much for Gary to do before the hearing. Jhen was terrific and fielded all my questions during the months previous to the hearing. I too have an anxiety disorder, among many physical issues, so I was anxious, but held out hope they knew what they were doing. Long story short, the hearing went well and I was approved. Gary Brown helped me understand what was going on during the hearing when I became confused. I would certainly recommend Gary Brown and his staff. They are experienced, well versed, and bottom line, they know what they are doing.
