I would not recommend this firm unless you plan on doing the work yourself

As a client of Piemonte Law Firm I was never left in the dark, Mrs. Melissa Wilson and the entire Piemonte staff was there for me from day one. I've had other representation in the past from other lawyers and their staff so believe me when I say, the Piemonte Law Firm is the best at what they do. Mrs. Melissa Wilson was there for me through my hearing process, she made me and my wife feel like family, she had my back all the way. I'm actually not a client yet as my case has been difficult because I waited to get representation and I dont recommend that. But they are doing everything they can to stand with me. Nothing is easier than a try.

This is my first time ever posting a review on google. I did not want to resort to leaving a negative review but it seems this is the only way I can inform the lawyers and “higher end staff”, I guess you could call them, of what is going on in the beginning stages of this process. I will openly say my disabilities include mental illnesses so even leaving this review is a struggle for me, so of course dealing with the negative process I’ve dealt with here has been very hard on me. My case is at the stage where I’m told “a lawyer is reviewing over my case”, I have already signed paperwork confirming this firm is my representative in my disability case. This firm has sent in a request to have extended time for my appeal. My complaint here is disorganization and the timing it takes to return my calls. Let’s start from the beginning, I was ask to send in my denial letter, in which I immediately did via mail. I called after several days and multiple times to see if my mail was received and was told it wasn’t. After 2 1/2 weeks I told this law firm that my mail was delivered on a certain day (I actually guessed, I went off of how long mail usually takes. Also, I only live 30 minutes away) and after me making this statement, my mail just happen to be there! I was told at one point I had a case worker and then I was told I don’t. I’ve had questions regarding mail they sent me to fill out and have received calls back regarding questions I had ask weeks before. If I get a call back, the wait time is a 3 day wait (I have began documenting). I was called last week sometimes in regards to a past question I had, that had already been answered. Yesterday I received a call stating that I needed to have my past lawyer withdrawal from my case, I’ve never had a lawyer. It appears there is lack of communication between the secretary and intake lady, I know they are in two different states. I am in NC and their number is from the office is GA. I have called to ask to speak to someone higher then then the intake lady and secretary, but the secretary wasn’t sure who I could speak to and I have not received a call back. I was actually recommended by a lawyer to this firm as my case isn’t the easiest and I’m aware of that. I have chosen to push through and stick with this firm as I have been recommended and was told by a friend that once I actually get assigned with a lawyer that the the process runs great, it’s just the beginning stages that was even hard on her, same problems as me. This is enough for many potential clients to take their business elsewhere, I wonder how many people have done so. I hope this message will get to someone who can handle this and I will happily remove this review once if I see something proactively is being done to make a change in this disorganization and my case runs more smoothly. Thank you.

EDIT- I called back one hour after I was left a voice message so the reply here is incorrect. George Piemonte ended up calling me again and I spoke with him. He apologized and explained all he has done and will be doing to correct these issues. I will be keeping this post up and will hopefully take it down once I see there is action with the words that were told to me. I appreciate his call and he broke things down very well.

This is Megan Wilson, whom left a review recently. I’m having to use another email as the comments can not be replied to responses left by owners and I want to make sure this is addressed here. Your comment about me not returning a call is absolutely incorrect and just shows publicly an example of how things have been going working with you guys and why I left the review I did! I received the call and voicemail Aug.28th at 2:36 PM and I returned the call the same day at 3:56 PM, just a bit over an hour. I know this because I still have this saved in my phone, in which you are more then welcome to have proof of. I asked to speak with George Piemonte, whom left the voicemail and the receptionist immediately told me he was unavailable and she took my name and number. I have received no further calls. So I am the one waiting on a response! Please address the problem of the messages not being relayed from the secretary, as this was an issue I had and seem to still be having. This is absolutely unacceptable and ridiculous from all that i’ve originally had issues with and then to publicly state I had not been heard from due to lack of communication/organization from your staff, as that statement is untrue! Unbelievable for a law firm, I am highly dissatisfied.

This company goes to the fullest that the law of disability will allow to get your social security disability. I have been trying for 13 yrs to get mine and been denied all the way I had no were to turn I exhausted all my appeals I had one final shot and it was to take my case that started in upstate New York to the federal court in the state of Georgia I knew absolutely nothing about the federal system law the only thing I can say I knew about at this level was that not many lawyers are specialized in social security disability on a federal level and if you go to that level you need a very strong case to be able to get approved by the administration of federal court and with the help of Martin and Jones and Piemonte law firm my case was accepted into the federal court of appeals for social security disability. This firm is absolutely the best social security disability lawyers for all there long effort and time to get your case accepted on the final step of appeals the federal Court. I'm waiting for the verdict but I'm confident this law firm will get me what I deserve. I would highly recommend this law firm on any level that they specialize in.

Top notch group. They really care about the injured. They will go to bat for you. Melissa Wilson went to court with me and walked me through the process. If you call them they will either talk to you then or return your call. They really helped me and my family. I fought for six and a half years and they stuck with me the whole time. If I ever have to have help from an attorney I will use Piemonte.

The law firm was up front and honest with the "long" process. Melissa Wilson did as best with the situation that was possible. Did not receive the results that we wanted, but that happens when rules and regulations change...not in our favor. No poor reflection on the law firm...not their fault. They can only deal with the cards dealt to them by the government.

There are simply no words that would be able to express my and my family's gratitude for what the kind people at Piemonte have done for us. I can't express the gratitude I have for the Piemonte Law Firm. As a VSO (Veteran Services Officer) I was trained to help other veterans to apply for disability benefits with the Veterans Administration.

I would recommend that every veteran would never use this law firm to represent you in any legal matter that has to do with the Veterans Affairs. They never did file any of my paperwork and refused to turn over all documents in my file. They say they document everything but, there are major gaps with there story as they lost my paperwork and then told me I didn't sign anything or even bring them paperwork that showed my disability rating. If you need help with your disability claims use a VSO to represent you. This law firm will not treat you with the respect you deserve.
