These guys hands down have their stuff together! James is one of the most down to earth Attorneys I've ever met. His staff is super friendly, helpful, and their results will not disappoint!

My son was hit and than ran over and is in the hospital 1 month in ICU and still in the hospital recovering the hospital abused him and negected him so bad that he got a open bed sore so bad you could see his spine called Roan law and I was told there was nothing they could do to help my son ! Really ?
Our family was NOT satisfied with Roane Law experience after a car accident. We are using our personal experience to advocate for other accident victims. We had to take over the case in order to get her the best settlement. Our We had to constantly follow-up and learned so much that we hope helps other accident victims. Use the North Carolina Insurance Commission for assistance - they are a great resource. Most importantly do your research before hiring an accident attorney. You can negotiate the attorney contingency fee (you don't have to pay 33%). You can work directly with an insurance company. Ask for a claims manager if you don’t feel like adjustor is offering a fair settlement. Research and understand diminished value on your vehicle. You can negotiate this directly with the insurance company for this loss. If you have Medicare, make sure that you understand Medicare Reimbursement and how it will affect the amount you receive from the accident settlement. You can work directly with your Medicare plan and/or other medical offices to reduce the reimbursement amount for medical costs associated with your accident. You most likely pay for underinsured or uninsured motorist coverage on your own auto policy - contact your insurance company directly for assistance with this if the driver who caused your accident does not have enough coverage. You also most likely have Medical Payment Reimbursement on your policy - usually up to $2000 in coverage that you can request directly from your insurance company to cover medical bills. Most importantly, don’t sign any documents with an attorney until you fully understand what you your potential settlement will be after attorney fees and medical expense BEFORE you sign any agreements with an attorney.

Not phony, approachable real people. I didn't feel like a dollar sign walking thru the door, if you've ever went to a typical injury attorney, you know what I mean. In a way I felt they selected me not the case.

I contacted Roane Law regarding a medical malpractice case for my uncle and was told that they would review my case and contact me to see if they could help me. After giving them the medical information and waiting 3 months I contacted the office to get an update. I had contacted them several times during the 3 months. The next day I was sent an email stating that they were not interested in my case. I wasted 3 months waiting on a response for them to tell me they were not interested. Very unprofessional.

No one wants to need a lawyer, but after a car wreck I did. James Roane was highly recommended to me and we chose to meet with him to review my case. After meeting him, I realized he knew what needed to be done and the way to handle it. Mr. Roane and the staff at Roane Law were very friendly and always willing to answer my questions. They treated me like a person, not a number, and that means a lot to me. My input was valued in the decisions that were made, they did not just make decisions for me. It was a true pleasure to work with such a dedicated and knowledgeable group who had my best interest at hand. I would highly recommend James Roane and Roane Law again.
