I retained Tim Edwards back in August of 2017, since I retained him he has gone beyond and back for my family and I. He was able to have me granted primary custody of my minor son, and assured me to be calm and not worry thru the long fight. The Blackwell & Edwards law firm has a excellent, and perfessional staff. When I call to speak to Mr. Edwards or Other things they always ask how my family is doing, or how my kids are. They seem to want to build a true relationship with not only their clients but the close family of the client. If you’re thinking twice about retaining Mr. Edwards, don’t. I'm sure Attorney Edwards does fantastic work for his clients. I scheduled a consultation and called the day of to confirm the appointment time & payment methods. Less than 20 minutes later, the front desk called me back and asked if I'd cancelled my appointment. What? I literally had JUST spoken to her about my appointment. If you "just" spoke with "me" and I cancelled the appointment, why would you call BACK and ask if I meant to? I hadn't told anyone about my appointment either, so for some "random person" to call and say "I" wanted to cancel and they did so without verifying even a phone number to be sure, is highly unprofessional. My best guess is that they overbooked for the day and don't have the courage to admit to potential clients. I had mixed feelings about scheduling a consultation with a family law attorney with so many poor reviews, and now I don't have to worry about it. I'll be scheduling elsewhere.

Tim Edwards is a highly skilled as well as thoughtful and attentive attorney. My daughter is his client for child custody and divorce representation. He cares a great deal about his clients, paying close attention to the details and documentation, and it is evident in his handling of her case. After watching other attorneys in action during court dates, this is not always the case. Attorney Edwards is a class above the rest. If you want an attorney who cares about protecting your children and truly listening to your case I recommend him wholeheartedly.

Took my money for my case and didn't do anything!!

poor experince ,got my $5400.00 dollars and all we got out of it was temporary custody an its been going on 2yrs.

I had Mr. Edwards represent me with an issue regarding my settled divorce. He was very prompt and practical and gave sound advice. It was a pleasure working with Mr. Edwards and his entire staff. I received the desired outcome in my situation. I would highly recommend Mr. Edwards to anyone. There is a reason he is consistently voted the top family lawyer in the area.

Biggest waste of money I have ever done... Edwards never even asked the other lawyer what it would take to keep our divorce out of court till I told him to after 3 months and would not even tell me his plan or let me know how my money was being spent and did not receive copies of everything. Always had to email the paralegal so I was charged for her reading, forwarding it to him, him reading it forwarded his answer to her and then to me sometimes its just better to email the lawyer directly. Got charged 17 bucks for a letter to be ready then another 17 to be taken to the post office which I consider double charging. After spending basically 4500 and wasting 4 months he told me it would cost me more to stop then paying him to continue when I didn't even want anything in the divorce I just wanted him to go away. I switched lawyers and she had gotten more done in a week then Edwards did the whole 4 months and she had the whole thing done with in not even 3 weeks. If you use them be prepared to pay them to go get the hearings pushed till the judge says no more and have to pay for that every time and have your hard earned money wasted. There are better lawyers that don't cost 2500 just to say they'll be your lawyer and will work to get things done as fast as they to your satisfaction can so your money is not wasted
