The opposing attorney and his office were VERY unresponsive and difficult to work, which demanded more of Candace’s time and work- ultimately costing me far more than it should have! Candace remained classy and respectable, yet firm and assertive throughout the process, always working diligently to obtain the most favorable results on my behalf.
My only wishes are I would have known to share EVERYTHING with the judge and most of all -- the process would not have turned out to be SO expensive.
Would definitely recommend Candace Faircloth---she is A#1 in my book!!!
I highly recommend Candace and Collins Family Law

I should mention that I moved during my separation and then contacted them from out of state, which was never a problem. The process took slightly longer than sixth months, but I guess that's to be expected, as they needed people to sign papers, book time with judges, etc. It was a positive experience. They're professional and honest. I would recommend them.

After going through a long three year court battle with three different attorney's. Jessica Price, being the third final attorney, taking it over in the last six months. This showed me, one of the most valuable things in life; all attorneys' are not created equal. So if you want it done right, don't waste your time letting years go by without any positive results. Call on The Collins's Family Law Firm, they are GREAT and AWESOME professionals!!!
Some of the issues were time sensitive, and I was incredibly impressed with how quickly things were addressed. I was always kept abreast of where we were in the process, what would come next, and what I could expect. They did a great job of making sure that I understood what was happening during each step of the process. There were no surprises, and at no time did I feel like my issues weren't being handled. My questions were always answered expediently and completely.
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this firm to my family and friends, as I'm sure they would be as satisfied as I am. They were caring and professional from start to finish.
We met with Kerry Quick and were thrilled with how much knowledge she had! She said all of the right things to make us think we were going to have an experienced professional handling our problems. She presented us with several options to go forward with including simply sending a letter, sending a letter threatening legal action, and the option we chose, which was to go ahead and file with the courts, but send a letter and try to settle things outside of the court. Ms. Quick told us that as soon as we paid the $2500 retainer fee, that she would draft the letter and file papers with the court that same week! We signed the papers and paid the fee the next day, September 30th. Since we had met with her for over an hour, we thought she was good to go with the information she needed and we proceeded on with our lives and waited to hear from her. On Friday October 4th, we received an email stating that Ms. Quick in the process of preparing our motion and she hoped to have everything finalized and emailed to us by Monday. After a week of hearing absolutely nothing, we called back and on Monday October 14th, we were sent a letter to proofread. The papers had not been filed with the court, the letter was not sent out, and time was slowing wasting away. We were on a deadline. We waited another week, after proofreading the letter, and continually waited to hear that the papers had been filed, and the letter was sent out. After repeated calls, we received a final email from Ms. Quick on October 25th saying that she had been in trial for the week. She said she had received the change we wanted made to the letter and said she would revise the motion and file it on Monday.
We eventually gave up. The papers weren't filed, the letter never sent. As a result, we requested a refund. We patched things up with the mother and since no papers were ever presented to her, she was blissfully unaware that we had even tried to take her to court. Seems rather odd to me that after a month, and $2500 the person we wanted to take to court had no idea. We called and called the law office but very rarely received return phone calls, and when we did they were from the receptionist and paralegals, and as friendly as they were, they were unable to answer our questions. Finally, we sent an email and we were told the papers had been transferred to Ms. Collins to review.
On November 26, after threatening to file bad reviews, I finally received a call back. We had signed a “true retainer fee” so they said they did not have to refund any of our money, but they were willing to return roughly $1800 of it, claiming we were billed for the letter that they wrote (but apparently never bothered to send), and the office visit. Maybe it's just me, but $700 to sit an office and listen to promises about what they law office could do for me, just seems a little bit ridiculous. I would not recommend this company to anyone unless you have plenty of time.
