Constant mismanagement of billing and invoices by the admin staff. Attorney Simmons says one thing in private session and something different in mediation in front of his peers. Had to spend 10-15 minutes of billed time at the beginning of every meeting with Attorney Simmons describing the case to him all over again. He speaks as though he cares but as soon as you leave the office, you are forgotten. He does not stand up for the client.

No. We were not happy with the service. We were told that the attorney was familiar with our type of case. We scheduled appt to speak with the attorney and he was completely RUDE and nonchalant about answering any of our questions! I was a little concern about the other BAD REVEIWS on their site; but wanted to give them a chance. I feel we were totally mislead and that the only thing the office wanted is to collect the consult fee. DO NOT USE THESES PEOPLE!! THE ONLY REASON THEY GOT A STAR, WAS BECAUSE I COULDN'T POST MY COMPLIANT WITHOUT.

Scheduled an appointment in June for an appointment in July. Called two days before the appointment to confirm and send in the required documentation for my case. The representative provided a date that must be reflected on the form in order for the case to be accepted. I met that requirement and started to send the forms to the office. Five to ten minutes after the initial call, the representative called back and informed me that the firm no longer accepts ARAG cases. Seems a bit suspicious that this new development took place during a conversation I had today with office personnel. I consider this to be unprofessional and inconsiderate and wonder if a courtesy call would have been in order if there is a possibility of the termination from the ARAG relationship. Not even an apology.

I trusted and have brought matters to GPS formerly Douglas and Simmons going back at least 10 years. Eric has handled from minor last name change to HOA dispute and fair settlement. I have GPS in my contacts and would advise others to so as well.
Attorneys are like mechanics, when you find one you can trust and fair, keep them!

Horrible experience lawyers are too busy to handle your case in a timely fashion but are never too busy to accept payment, typical licensed theives. Unless you want to be overcharged and dismissed like a piece of dung. Stay away.
