I hear ppl say many things about him but if they would take the time to kno common sense of the law? He doesnt have to tell you to be present or what he is goin to do or say cuz this man here? Will never lead you wrong in any court of law....

I have called his office to find out about my case and every time I call during work hrs...they never answer the phone and if you leave a message you never get a return call....they suck....so i'm looking for a better more reliable lawyer because he sure isn't one....Do not hire him you will regret it thrust me

Yes I wouldn't give it 1 star if it would let me i was charged to have a 70 n a 55 reduced to an improper equipment well thought things were good he got a rear seat belt wich carries a 10dlr fine with no court cost not only did they not lower my attorney fees but he didn't pay the fine for me either but when they called to tell me the verdict I said do I need to pay the fine the lady said no he probably paid it so I asked for her to Check n call me back no call back then I get pulled for suspended license for failure to pay a fine ok well then I'm pissed I call them and I'm nice about it so I pay them the fine over the phone she calls me says everything is good not to mention it still ended up costing me another 150dlrs now I just got pulled over in my wife's vehicle and found out that my license is still screwed up I'm not even going to bother with them I'm going to handle it myself it will cost me a lot less but will never refer them to anyone n if u hire them after reading this less just say u get what u deserve because one day they will cause karma is a b***h

He represented me in a case the state new i had no affiliation with. They was still trying to throw the book at me. Popkins represented me and his skills and his knowledge on the law helped me tremendously.

Great attorney

Man is great at what he does , got my bail reduced by 90 pct an got my case from a felony to a misdamenor, Jacksonville is a pretty trashy area with lot of bad people who have a lot of offenses an violations on there record and can't be reasoned with and they keep messing up an expect to get off on everything . If you are a decent person who doesn't have a bad record and learns from your mistakes Mr popkins can really do great . But no judge is going to let somone off the hook with a background of repeated mistake

Mr. Popkin is an ok lawyer, he did get 4 felonies reduced to 1 misdemeanor. Yet he did not do his due diligence as far as reviewing my motion of discovery. I’m now on probation due to him giving me the wrong amount associated with restitution. If he’d went over the paper work properly, I’d been able to bring the correct amount of money to the court.

By far one of the best lawyers gone down hill. He used to be highly rated but word had gotten around that he just wasn't on top of his game. I had a friend who had recently hired him, only to be terribly disappointed. Popkins top priority is basically your money, and if you are hitting hard times, well......so does his services. Popkins was once a five star but has now went to being a three star lawyer. I don't like the way he treats his clients so I'm giving him a mere two stars. Maybe he's lost his passion, who knows, but something he used to have, he just doesn't have anymore :(

When talked to popping about my case he gave me a price I paid him, after that he would not answer my phone and after a year my case has not been settled yet! Not I'm looking for lawyer to sue him.

Mr. Popkins is the absolute best lawyer for any type of driving violations in my opinion. Very professional and very expedient. Also I feel that his prices are quite reasonable compared to what other lawyers have quoted.

After paying an entire fee up front, I waited patiently for nine months for a simple case to be taken care of. I was then rebilled for the amount I had already paid for, and then discovered that my issue had not even been resolved.

Finally, a family member that is an attorney in another state sent a letter for me to help get the issue resolved.

Awful service and total incompetence. Do yourself a favor and hire someone else.
