He’s a great lawyer and a better person. Being a lawyer must keep you busy but he still took my case the day before my court date and handled everything. Also, he only charged me $350, I think he should have asked closer to $500.

Wasn't a good lawyer to me at all. The first time he was suppose to appear in court for me didn't tell me he was going to federal court that day and gave my case to another lawyer who forgot my name. So he claimed which probably was a complete lie. Anyway, Didn't let me know or anything, it could have been a warrant out for my arrest just because of him. Then our last court date got an attitude with me rolling his eyes all by me waiting for him to come to court for me. Like I was annoying him, every time I said something when he first arrived he acted like he didn't want me to say anything by acting annoyed. After paying him $750. Then my case was about to be dismissed with voluntary leave with no proof against me he couldn't even fight it for me and just get it dismissed. He wanted and even paid for me to have voluntary leave bcuz he wanted to be done with me. That VL is not good on your record. Basically the court would be agreeing to every thing the plaintiff was saying with no proof and he wanted me to go for it so it could be done with. Thanks be to God me and the pathetic long face plaintiff got in a heated argument in immediation and her case against me got dismissed all together. So I was good to go because of that. Never will I ever come to his business again, he didn't fight for me in any way. So if you are looking for a good lawyer that can handle the DA don't go to him. Terrible mistake and a waste of $750 because he did NOTHING FOR ME AT ALL. SAY NO TO WRIGHT CRIMINAL DEFENSE.

He was a tall kind of heavy set man that looked to be in his 50s and looked like he was Italian. He represented me on November 13, 2017 at the New Hanover county courthouse. Face the fact that what I said is the truth, don't think because you replied to my review that it will change anything. I SWEAR to you all viewing this, say NO to Wrights Criminal law, he doesnt know how to handle the DA or the judge, you've been warned already.

I had a federal public defender that tried to get me to plea and snitch. My family got Steve and I'm home. He beat the feds. Mr. Right.

I hired Steven Wright to help me when I was in a sticky situation. I found out I had a pending charge against me in North Carolina which is 8 hours from where I was living. When i tell you i violated my probation 3 times i just knew i wasnt getting out of it this time. I had 2 charges pending i was screwed. But i thought ok let me get a lawyer and maybe i can at least not get the full sentence. This man is the real deal. I hired him for my son after a friend that works at the federal court told me Mr. Wright was the first person to beat the feds at trial in as long as that man had worked at the court (which was several years.). I called him, he got me in for an appointment within a day. A little bit expensive, but in the end worth every penny. Lawyers are like everything else- you get what you pay for. I recommend him all the time.

Was falsely accused, and could've ended up in prison for a long time. He worked with me, the investigator, and the DA so that it never went to court. Great guy that is knowledgeable and really fights for you.
