Like many, I never thought I would be in the position to seek counsel for separation. Beyond the amazing website, the free resources available regarding separation, the up-to-date posts on the business facebook page and the extremely competitive consultation fee, Attorney Elizabeth Stephenson is extremely professional and gave me a sense of comfort as I tread upon new waters.

One thing I notice is that due to her two decades of experience, she gives advice as to what is necessary for your case. There were things that I thought might help my case, but Attorney Stephenson and her team (especially, Felicity Little) made sure that I understood the goal is to build a strong case toward the verdict I wanted and not just to be heard in the court room. During our consultation, Elizabeth let me know this new normal is tough and the reality. But she also shared that she would provide me with the best representation.

In preparation for the custody hearing, she was honest about what to expect but thanks to her professionalism and legal expertise, I left the court room happy. Well, I have been more than happy. It was a release of stress and anxiety that was being forced on me and my girls.

Again, Attorney Stephenson is the best attorney for your needs. I will continue to share her contact with friends and am so thankful for having a team that works as hard as I thought they should and then some. Returning calls and emails is never an issue and I'll say that the consultation fee wasn't just a payment - it was an investment into my future. And for that, I am eternally grateful.

Family Law and the people that have dedicated their life's work to such an unusual cause, absolutely amazes me. No one can appreciate having a good team to back you through such an unfortunate time in your life unless you are unlucky enough to live it for yourself. "Hats off" to everyone at this firm as they have stuck by my side no matter the cost, the endless emails, the endless drama, the endless questions and emotions. Take it from me, it will get better! I never felt so down before in my life and without NDFL I have no idea where my kids and I would be today. They have found away to lift my spirits and show me the light at the end of the tunnel, no matter the cost. I worked with Elizabeth and her team. While Fizzy was great. Elizabeth was not prepared and couldn’t remember simple details and facts about my case. After she lost my case, I reached out to see what out next steps would be and got no response until I said I didn’t want to work with her anymore. I would have been satisfied, win or lose, had I felt she was genuinely invested in me as a client.

I worked with Elizabeth and Fizzy. What a team, they are always on top of what is best for the client whether we actually understand what is going on or not. They are very patient and explain the processes you will be going thru and always have time to lend a listening ear. It is a very tough time for their clients, and they understand you will have questions and you will be upset during these hearings. It was such a pleasure every time I called, if I called upset, they always calmed me down. They made a very tough situation in my life as easy as it could’ve possibly gone. They really have your best interests in mind, they know the law and are there to help.
I can’t forget their office staff as well. Ms. Kelsi and Ms. Jennifer were always a pleasure to talk with, and my messages always were returned within a reasonable amount of time. I often thought how can a office staff that deals with crabby people daily (I wasn’t the easiest customer) going thru divorce or custody issues always be in a great mood ? Yet they are. My case was handled with the highest level of professionalism, care, and confidence! Working through this process, it felt as if the weight was lifted from me and they carried it for me. Carly was very strategic and carefully walked me through the process. I could NOT have gone through this ordeal without them...well, I could have but it would have been a lot messier and definitely more painful. :-)

I just received a very unprofessional and sarcastic call from this law firm. They were pressuring me to release them from an on-going case. When I started asking questions the lady became angry and short with me. When I asked for time to consult with my attorney the lady started talking down to me and told me that they had to submit a response now. I told them I do not consent to the release because I’m unaware of my rights. Ultimately the lady said very sarcastically for me to “Have a NICE DAY!” and immediately hung up on me.

Not sure what kind of operation this law firm is running but it’s not customer service focused. They could have taken a few minutes to discuss my concerns and the outcome would have possibly been different. The overall lack of professionalism and apparent foresight to remedy this before having an immediate need today is not something I should be burdened with.

Elizabeth and Carly were highly compassionate, helpful and attentive to my legal information needs. They both very quick to respond to my inquiries and provided multiple options of solid advice and counsel.
