As not a resident of johnston county this was my first time needing a lawyer in regaurds to few traffic violations! I was court apointed her about a year ago and her and her staff have been nothing but amazing helpful and understanding through it all as today she closed the cases!! If your in any trouble this is definitely the law firm to contact! I was a habitual felon w a bit of a bad past! But I was honest with ms Aleta and her firm and she was amazing.. she always kept contact with me and she was always honest.. I have no regrets w the Ballard law firm. If you're looking for a good lawyer that will actually communicate with you this is NOT where u will find one. Had a previous charge when it was finalized no one took the time to explain to me the process in addition to calling them they referred me to contact the courthouse, very upset about the service..
Paid over a grand and not even an explanation or return call after multiple attempts not professional at all and if you're looking into ending ur case the best way possible I would NOT recommend it.

I hired Ballard Law Firm when I got a speeding ticket on Smithfield NC on I-95. They went to court, August 24,2012, and the charge was dropped to improper equipment. I received a letter from the NC Dept of transportation that stated I could not drive in NC after a certain date because I had failed to pay my ticket. I called the law firm and I received a faxed copy they paid the ticket on Sept 25,2012. I then received a letter from SC dept of transportation stating that my drivers licence was going to be suspended because I did not pay the ticket. I asked the law firm to correct this and they did not. I called the SCDMV to check the the law firm took care of it and they did not. I had to go to the DMV in person to correct.
