Update: So evidently when you file for a trademark there are a bunch of steps along the way. Their systems are really amazing. They monitor your trademark's status in real time and then give you automated updates as the registration progresses. No idea how they do this but it is very cool.

Very disappointed with the quality of service and integrity of this Company. I ordered a 'Statement of Use" for my trademark. The company accepted the money, and after 6-weeks I had to follow-up to see what was happening. To make a long story short, I might loose my Trademark for dealing with this Company or might have to pay more money to get it done. I'm not happy!

Disgusting customer service! I wish I read these reviews before signing up with them. The lady started yelling at me over the phone stating that she’s been working for 12 hours. They checked for us what we’ve already checked ourselves on the feee government website and then wanted me to do more of their work, and when I told her that I don’t understand this part she just started yelling at me again. Want my money back, it’s not worth it.

I used The Trademark Company (formerly TTC Business Solutions) for years without a problem. Then, about a year ago there was apparently an employee shake up. About then, I paid for three trademark searches and was given a green light on all three. I then paid for application; however, the USPTO determined each one had obvious conflicts and issued each an Office Action. I called and gave additional information, as well as again paid The Trademark Company to file a response letter for one (I have the receipt), and was told I needn't do anything further. Six months later, I received a denial from the USPTO indicating the application was denied/dismissed for failure to respond to the Office Action. I called The Trademark Company and was told I hadn't filled out a form, which was never sent to me. (They blamed me). Even if they had sent the form, no one ever followed up despite my being a loyal customer and having paid several hundred dollars for the letter. I called again and was diverted up to a manager. I then asked to have my money applied to a Petition to Revise and filled out and returned an online form. I specifically requested a follow up once the petition had been submitted to the USPTO. Nothing. So, a month later I sent an email inquiring about the status, and received a response that still nothing had been filed because they needed $100 for the filing fee. Ultimately, I will file my own Petition. Unfortunately, I have to suggest you look elsewhere for trademark application services.

terrible company.. filed my trademark incorrectly.. allowed me to use a unsatisfactory description of my business and what do with my trademark application.. I worked with them. They filed wrongly, which cased me losing two trademarks. I contacted the owner Matthew for minimum 6 times by phone and email - he NEVER answered.

Reply to owners response. These 2 which were disapproved and then I paid additional money to fix it and those responses to the USPTO were not right responses which made them 100% fail. Nevertheless, I called and emailed the Owner and he never considered EVER to respond. Now when it is about the online reputation a response can be written with in 24 hours. ( normally never leave a negative response on the web. But this was just too much!)

After a lot of researches and speaking directly with the Attorneys at the United States Trademark Office to register my trademark after TTC abandoned and left in the air , TTC Business Solutions dba The Trademark Company is NOT a company with real attorneys. On their website they claim that in very small letters " We are not a law firm." They are not by any means affiliated or respected by the United States Trademark and Patent Office.
TTC display an enormous configuration settings and marketing on their website to the naked eye public to get our money quickly. They display false information to gather our quick attention with inexpensive prices, showing hundreds of thousands customers, that they are on NBC, The Wall Street Journal, Time, etc. That is fake.

They will transfer whatever you write in their website straight to the USPTO form automatically. They do not review your work, so be careful if you fall into their trap, it will end up costing you three times as much.

After their pocket my money, I could never reach them again by phone, by email or by chat online. It was a true frustration and headache that I really thought I lost my long time registered name to someone else. They only called me back when I found a real attorney to instruct me. Then a gentleman name Matthew, which was supposed to be the head of the company is being investigated and in court for several of this cases that they did like mine.

I was finally able to straight my trademark with the attorneys at the USPTO directly and it has been a few months and I become a pro in registering trademarks names and have done 4 on my own now. It is very simple and easy to fill out the application. So you too can do it without their help because they will just submit what you wrote anyways without even looking at.

I hope some people will read this statement and save them time, money and headache in the future. I also hope this company put their act together and treat the public with honesty as this is very serious and can cause big harms to business.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Read the 1-star reviews. This company looks up trademark applications and spams applicants to get business. It is really annoying to get all of their emails, and you have to go out of your way to get off a list you never joined. This company isn't even registered to solicit business in my state, so their spam is illegal, at least in my state.

I can not emphasize this enough...DO NOT USE THE TRADEMARK COMPANY. They do not have attorneys review your applications, they do not do any preliminary searches, they do not do anything that they represent that they will do for the trademark customers. They literally take your exact information that you fill out on their website and then put it in the TEAS plus system. I would bet that they don't even have actual people re-enter the info. Probably an automated system. If you can fill out everything on their website. You can do the TEAS plus application online by yourself. But if you do not feel comfortable doing that PLEASE hire any other attorney, firm, or service other than these guys. They registered a few marks for me and now i am facing major issues because their founding attorney Matthew Swyers is apparently is some really big legal troubles. I have called them, emailed them, even tried there website chat. I have not been able to talk to anyone or get a call or email returned. They know they screwed up and now they will not help or even acknowledge my existence. I will be contacting the Virginia bar association to see what my options are. Since when I hired them a few years ago they represented themselves as my attorney. They no longer do that to get around some legal guidelines but they use to do that.

EDIT: After the company has responded to this review(although I could not get a response through any other means of communication) I need to clarify the major issue I have been facing which is why I have been attempting to contacting the company. They had listed their contact information as the contact info on the marks the filed for me which is completely fine. And all I need is an email that was sent to their email listed on the mark. And they will not provide me anything sent to those email addresses. Instead want to charge me to change the contact info. So they are basically holding them hostage unless I pay them. And to think all of this would have been avoided and they probably would have received a positive review if they had just forwarded the email that was sent to their email they put on my marks. A 5 minute task.
