Jack O Hale is excellent. He truly supports his clients and looks out for those in "public service". He is definitely great at his job. I think his receptionist, who is a former public service worker, is very pleasant. If you are in trouble, he is the only person I recommend!

Easy DUI case that went to jury. As good as they say o’hare is, he couldn’t get the jury to see the state highway patrol officer was being a bit over reactive when just at the legal limit was blown on breathalizer. Also took a year for court to decide on punishment. All community service and requirements completed in June and still waiting for provisional. He can’t walk his butt next door to get the paper signed by a judge. Or he’s always out of town. Once he got paid he quit working

Jack ohale is by far the best lawyer I've ever dealt with criminally speaking lol. While my experience was very eye opening, Jack worked hard on my case to prove me innocent. He single handedly gave me my life back. Even though the bill is paid, I feel I am forever in his debt. Jack knows his stuff .And his experience speaks for itself!! Highly recommend.

I recently spoke with Jack O'Hale over the phone being that I am in Florida and he was very rude. I was asking general questions trying to see if his firm handles situations like mine and he repeated a few times very rudely, I don't practice law over the phone. He also rudely cut me off when I was trying to answer his question by saying, Just answer the question that I asked because I don't have time for this. The last question I had was how a Power Of Attorney is done and he say, once again very rudely, I don't practice law over the phone and then proceeded to hang up on me.

I had an awful experience with this firm in Smithfield. They handled my deceased Mother's estate.They received a check in the amount of $9701.27 processed through BB&T in Garner NC.They sent the check by regular mail to my address. When i never received a check, I contacted them and was told they always sent checks via us mail not certified because of cost issues.BB&T now tells me because a check for this amount should have been sent by certified mail, that they have to wait 90 days before stopping payment and cutting another check. Now the law firm will not return calls or emails on this matter. Very unprofessional.Would never use or recommend this firm. I'm in the process of filling a grievance with the NC bar

Just called this firm and the receptionist who answered the phone was extremely rude and kept saying, "I can't hear you." I politely asked if she could hear me now and her response was a rude and frustrated "barely." She then asked what did I want. Well, actually nothing now. I don't need your help or need to be a client if you are going to be rude. I would definitely recommend customer service training. Unacceptable.
