I knew one of the lawyers several years before I decided to have him represent me. I spoke with him on a weekly basis while I was in the same area. Once I decided to seek lost wages along with pain and suffering from an auto accident I spoke with this lawyer 2 times in 2 years. I called probably 100 times and it reached the point to where it was pointless to leave a message because no one was calling back. The only time I heard from someone was when someone new took over the case because the former paralegal just left, imagine that. After a 2 year turmoil we finally reached a settlement. Once I paid the firm their cut I wasn’t left with very much except for the fact that I will never work for the company I was with because of this case. This was 3 years ago, present day I was under funded $600 so a check was issued to me July 2nd 2019 for that amount. At the time I had a 81.3% chance of mortality within 6 days due to acute liver failure. I turned all of my bills and accounts over to my family. A check was issued and deposited into an account to cover my last expenses. By the grace of God I received I transplant July 5th and am currently recovering during which I asked the firm about the check for $600 which I didn’t realize I received. Another check was issued which I signed and deposited understanding this was the only check issued. I have over $500,000 of debt due to the liver transplant and losing a 6 figure salary job. If this lets you know anything about who you are dealing with guess who I finally spoke to for the 3rd time in 3.5 years questioning me about this check. Buyer beware

They are very good and very professional but friendly enough to make you feel like you are part of their family. Plus I get Birthday & Christmas cards every year for over the past decade. In my opinion you could not retain a better law firm anywhere in Eastern North Carolina.
