Carolyn Peacock either ran circles around her or Debbie was actually working for the opposing side. Cost me at least $10,000 plus I had to pay $7500 for the opposing attorney fees. My Attorney for the past 6 years has been Jim Lupton P.A. I can honestly say that there is probably not a better attorney in the State of North Carolina. This review is specifically for Deb Massie for divorce. I hired Deb Massie for my absolute divorce, frustrated by the delays at my lawyer's office for my custody and equitable distribution case. I had a time sensitive situation, and was told 45 days ahead of time that I would be good to go as long as my ex did not seek an extension. However, once I paid, delays starting appearing out of the woodwork and I was told I may even want to file in a different county. I ended up needing to fire her just to get the divorce done pro se on time, unfortunately with some cooperation from my ex **barf**. I would avoid her office if possible. I think largely the problem revolved around her staff, but obviously she is to blame for that as well.
