I have to say that this firm is amazing. I was referred to Summit by a friend who had a DUI and told me that Rabin was awesome and won his case because there was a technicality in his case. I have never been in trouble with the law before and I was terrified and embarrassed as I am an adult. I hired Summit Defense in 2016 after interviewing five different defense attorneys, and I am so happy that I chose Summit. From the beginning, I felt that I was in great hands with Tennille— she gave me her honest opinion (which turned out to be completely accurate) and was very reassuring, even giving me her personal cell phone number so that I could call or text her anytime with questions or concerns. Financially speaking, Summit was also among the least expensive of the 5 firms that I spoke with, charging only half of what three of the other firms quoted me. I was faced with two misdemeanors that triggered a felony probation violation, not to mention the toughest DA in the South bay. The Felony probation alone would have easily fetched 9 months. This was my first DUI charge so I was obviously nervous and uneducated about the process. After come online research, I contacted Summit Defense and was put in contact with attorney Collin Moore. Though this was a very long 10-month process, I was kept well informed by Collin. He was always available when I needed to speak to him and was extremely patient with me.
Although I was over the legal limit at the time of the sobriety test, Collin was able to reduce the charge to a dry reckless driving conviction, meaning a DUI charge was not put on my record, I served no jail time, did not have my license suspended and did not have to go to court mandated DUI classes, which can total as much as 40 hours for a wet reckless driving conviction This verdict was almost a complete victory for me. I had not heard of Summit Defense before the charge, but I am sure aware of them now. This is a first-class law firm. Collin was a professional from the start.
