She's the one. Zeppy is by far one of the best lawyers I have ever had the pleasure to work with. When I came to her my lawyer had retired and we were in the middle of a case! My Story…
Following my last relationship, my daughter’s mom took off out of town with my daughter and threatened not to bring her back. I was devastated, I felt powerless and I didn’t know what to do. I knew I needed a good attorney, so a friend referred me to Zeppy and raved about the job she did in her divorce case. Initially I was scared, nervous, and unsure what to expect because I’ve been through a custody battle in the past for my older children that didn’t turn out the way I wanted at all. I had my initial consultation with Zeppy at the beginning of 2013, she listened to my story, asked what I wanted to happen, and explained what she needed from me. Then, Zeppy and her team at the law firm went to work on my behalf; within 3 months my daughter was back in Fresno with me. I was awarded Sole Legal and Physical Custody due to Zeppy’s knowledge of the Law. It was mind blowing to say the least at how fast everything turned out on my behalf getting my daughter back to me, especially as an African-American single father, I didn’t know what to expect. My daughter’s mom was initially awarded supervised visits for about a year, during that year, and the following 2 years, my daughter’s mom continued fighting for custody and more time. She hired three different attorneys to go against Zeppy over the 3-year period we were going to court. Zeppy and her team constantly updated me on any communications, made sure I understood them, reassured, and guided me through that horrible three-year custody battle.
