When I first met Cindy, I found her to be a little rough around the edges, she was not friendly more of a what do you want, kind of attorney. Although, i could tell she was a go getter, take no bullshit from anyone. During the initial interview, I explained it was a very complicated custody battle, as we had been in and out of Court for several years. I also informed her, I don't just want to address the custody only, but to finalize my divorce as well. We had started one in Madera that was transferred to Fresno. While asking me questions during the interview, she interrupted alot not allowing me to finish my explainations. This was rather annoying because if she had allowed me to finish, she wouldn't have had to ask a question to, if she stopped interrupting. During the course of our case, I was being harassed by my husband and having other problems with him. When I'd call to talk with Cindy, I was always transferred to her paralegal, Channing, who's manners were far worse. I never received a call back from Cindy herself, just from Channing relaying Cindy's response, which was quite insulting because I was forking out the money to Cindy not Channing. In the midst of my case, my 20yr old son was murdered iN anot her state. I called to advise Cindy and once again, got rude, cold-hearted Channing, when I explained what happened, she was very cold, emotionless, like it was nothing significant. Again, no response from Cindy, which in my opinion she didn't care, that's not who she was getting paid for, just be there for the next hearing. Don't show any emotions or expression, while my husband was devaluing and dishonoring my son's life. Cindy would help him and explain what his next steps were in filing his paperwork after our hearings, but I received the bill every month. I asked her about having my husband pay my attorney's fees and she said she'd file the paperwork, which never happened. I ended up paying approximately $10, 000.00 just for the custody case, which I ultimately got primary care. When I called back a few months later to ask about the divorce, I was told by the receptionist, Sophia that my file was no longer in their office and I would have to pay another retainer fee, plus additional charges to retrieve my file out of storage. I was outraged, felt taken advantage of, as this was one of the reasons of hiring an attorney to finalize EVERYTHING! The grieving process I was going through was completely ignored. I don't think they even considered the magnitude of what i was going through, losing a child and how numb I was and just going through the motions. Now two (2) years later, my loss is still an everyday struggle, but I have to figure out how to finalize my divorce. From what I understand all that was needed to finalize the divorce was a Default, since he never responded within the allotted timeframe

When we first came to Cindy's office we had already been to court with another attorney in town who didn't do anything to help our situation. We were in a very bad custody battle and we needed help right now! Cindy took our case and got right to work on it. She fought for us and knew exactly what to do. She kept us informed, was very professional and never stopped working the case till its end. We were very happy with Cindy and her experienced staff too. Thanks to her hard work we had a favorable outcome. We pray that we never have to go back to court but if we do when know we have the best attorney in town. We wish we would have gone to Cindy first. If you have to go to family court, go straight to the Law Offices of Cindy J. Hopper. You'll be glad you did. The Grandals

Best Attorney I ever had. Very helpful, Knowledgeable, Hard working, Never gives up, Reasonable cost for Her 110% dedication. No words to explain my gratitude toward Her.. Thanks!
I was very pleased with the services I received at the Law Offices of Cindy J. Hopper. Cindy is a wise, detailed professional and pleasant to deal with. I went through a very difficult experience and Cindy made me feel confident that the truth was on my side and that the outcome would be in my favor. I appreciated every aspect of the way she handled my case. She really went to battle for me and the end result was everything I had hoped for. Her office and staff were helpful as well; especially her Paralegal Channing. Cindy's legal services are affordable, too. Hopefully, I will never have to go back to court, but if I do, I would DEFINITELY use Cindy and her team again to represent me. I highly recommend Cindy J. Hopper as an attorney. Sincerely, Doug B.

Cindy Hopper's office represented me in a very difficult case involving Breach of Fiduciary Duty for almost 3 years. I was told by several attorneys that the case would be almost impossible to win and that I should just forget it. The case was recently concluded and in my favor. In fact the judge stated that Ms. Hoppers arguments were "compelling". Ms. Hopper was always prepared and on time during the many court appearances and we had boxes of files. She had a positive attitude and was encouraging through this extremely stressful time in my life. I know it takes a village, and the office staff was always available with any questions I had and the necessary items were always prepared expeditiously, including dealing with another country and other languages that required legal translation to submit to the court. I owe my very life to this law office and I can't tell you how much all the hard work is appreciated.
