I hired Janet to help me with my divorce and she has done nothing to help me. She is way overpriced and doesn’t wanna work. I have never been through this process before. I was hoping she would give me the help and knowledge to get through this but instead I am going on 3 months now with no help from her to get what was court ordered. Not to mention when I emailed her my concerns that it was taking quite long, she called me, yelled at me, and told me I need to read my own paperwork and take care of some of this stuff myself!! SO unprofessional! I will be taking my business elsewhere.

More bad reviews, then good. Sure glad I read them. In her responses, she does seem pretty rude.

Janet is truly amazing! Not only is she an awesome paralegal she showed me in more ways then one that she cares. She gave me the empowerment that I needed. I will forever be grateful for her work and her. Thank you Janet soooooooo much!!!

Called to get some very simple information on a legal service I knew nothing about and the staff who answered the phone was very rude and abrupt. Would not recommend them or their company to assist in any legal matters, as they have no people skills.

Correction: Fifteen minutes after posting, the owner called me and accused me of blasting her company after I told the truth. I was also accused of lying about the $400 extra she charged me, even though I have my original statement from my first appointment with the office manager. I have never heard from the company so quickly. Perhaps if they have responded so quickly to my questions while I was going through my divorce, I wouldn't have so many complaints about my service. This phone call was completely unwarranted and highly unprofessional. It quickly devolved into a childish fight and I disconnected.

I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. My first meeting went well. They quoted me a price and I paid the $500 retainer. They forgot about my second meeting a week later and had lost all the paperwork I had given them at the first meeting. At my third meeting I was scolded every time I asked a question and made to feel like I was absolutely stupid for not knowing all the ins and outs of getting a divorce. The whole meeting lasted less than ten minutes before I was rushed out the door. For the fourth meeting, which I scheduled in advance with their secretary, I asked, via email, for all the paperwork to be ready for my signature so we could wrap everything up. I showed up and they looked at me like I was crazy for being there. I was scolded for showing up and told I needed to come back the following week. My last appointment went well until I was charged an extra $400 because the paralegal had to write one paragraph into the paperwork to cover the terms me and my ex had agreed upon. Let me add that I was entirely upfront at the first meeting about what terms I had going into the divorce when I was quoted my original price and my ex and I came to an agreement about everything outside of the office and without the help of anyone in the office. I'm not sure what they felt they did that warranted an extra $400 charge. I was completely caught off guard by the extra expense. I didn't have the breakdown of expenses from my first appointment in front of me. I knew I was being charged more, but I didn't know how much more. When I asked about the extra expense I was told the staff would discuss it and get back to me. I emailed them several times to find out what conclusion they came to was and I never heard a thing back. Three months later I emailed the staff again because they had never gotten back to me about the added expense and again I was told that they would need to discuss it and get back to me. This office is only interested in taking your money. They don't care about their clients one bit. Every time we had a meeting I was pressured to make a payment, which I did. I never held up the office in regards to money or information. I was extremely forthcoming with both. I wanted my divorce done and over with. Thirty minutes after I wrote them the final check the bank showed that it had been cashed, so they can't claim that this was a money issue on my end. I've seen on here the responses from the owners and they are petty. This business is bad, people are telling the truth. I was the client, not my ex husband, I was the one paying promptly. Janet and Ariana are extremely unprofessional. Appointments are forgotten, information is lost, phone calls and emails are rarely returned. The company has never taken the initiative to complete things in a timely manner or contact me when they say they will. Only after multiple emails and phone calls on my end did I ever see results and they were always minimal. I'm not sure how this company has stayed in business and it would be nice if they admit their mistakes instead of trying to place blame on their customers. When multiple people have the same complaint you have a problem and you need to address it.

Had an appointment, was on time. Was able to help me for what I requested, and in other ways, to make things easier for me in the future. Was less than the whole hour scheduled. Very nice and easy to talk to.

They handled my adoption and I thought they were great. Having using their office and dealing with them I think the other reviews are fake. Glad I used them .

From day one when my ex and I mutually decided to use their service I had a bad feeling about how they conducted business and my gut was right these people don't know if they're coming or going and probably some of the rudest people in the legal industry!!! About the only time my ex and I actually agreed on anything in months. So we just used a attorney that cost us just about $210 more but we receive the professionalism of his services and not a paralegal office run by bunch of high school girls that don't have a clue of what they're doing!!!! So I strongly suggest anybody who needs a paralegal to shop around or maybe even talk to an attorney.

They filed the papers for divorce and never told me. When I noticed they had filed,3 months earlier(from a check that was cashed) my husband drove me to their office so that I may be "served". They filed the "you've been served" papers 3 and a half months later. That is all they did for cost of over $1200. What a waste of money! Completely unprofessional.

Janet is currently handling our custody situation. My review may change later, but right now we have to write a neutral review. Janet seems to very knowledgeable about the law on custody situations. On 03/25/16 we met with Janet to review our current custody situation. We also paid her the entire fee, excluded the filing fee (nothing has been filed). On 03/31/16 I sent over the requested information during our 03/25/16 office visit. On 04/06/16 I sent Janet an email asking her to confirm receipt of the paperwork I emailed her on 03/31/16. My spouse finally had to call her the afternoon of 04/06/16, and he was told by the receptionist that Janet was handling everything. On 04/12/16 I sent Janet another email asking her if we needed to do anything else. She finally got back to me the same day and asked us to explain everything in detail, because she needed to get the declaration ready for signature. During the back and forth emails she set-up an appointment for us on 04/15/16 at noon. I sent her the requested explanation on 04/14/15. Both my husband and I took time off work for our appointment on Friday (4/15). Unfortunately we did not meet with her, because her receptionist, Stephanie told us she was in court. I was hoping I would have an email from Janet today (4/18/16) apologizing for the mix up in her calendar; however, there was no email or phone call. I sent her an email this morning at 8:12AM and have not heard from her. It's funny to me that both of our numbers happen to be wrong or not working. I could see if one of the number's was incorrect, but both! I know the declaration takes time, but I had been asking if more information was needed since 04/06/16. I finally received an email 3 days before our meeting requesting detailed information. I also received an email from her stating she had put us on her calendar for 4/22/16, but removed it because we had made an appointment for 04/29/16 with her receptionist. However, her receptionist told us the office would be closed on 04/22/16. Like I said before, Janet seems to be very knowledgeable when it comes to the law and custody paperwork. I would say you need to make sure you keep copies of everything you give her, take good notes and make sure everything is documented with an email for a paper trail.

Janet is wonderful!! My situation was a bit complicated but she was patient and explained everything to me. I could see that she truly cares for her clients. She went beyond the call of duty by helping me in time of need and urgency. I am extremely satisfied with her work and how easy and fast the process with her was. Janet and her staff are great, great services at a great price.

Janet handled my response to a child modification order. I was told I had nothing to worry about my paperwork would be filed on time. The judge only had a chance to glance at it because they didn't recieve it until late afternoon the day prior. I was quite upset.

Janet handled my divorce from start to finish. I was amazed that I had a judgment for my divorce that was "post dated" out three months before the official "6 months and 1 day" waiting period. She is definitely the most efficient person I have ever met! and she made it effortless. I think I went to her office a total of two times. I would totally recommend her to anyone that asks.
