Benjamin J Fisher & his assistant Tori are amazing people. I would recommend them over & over again. He was recommended to me by someone at the Reno County Courthouse for helping out with a title situation. They did an above and beyond job and gave me piece of mind. Paid $1,100 to get custody of my daughter and he went to court with me one time. Apparently judge didn't sign the papers for case agreement afterwards...childs mom isnt letting me see my daughter again for no reason. And ben Fisher has withdrawled from my case??? Why did I pay you and how are you not doing your job I paid you to do.

Apparently Mr. Fisher don't take phone calls from county jails even if the client is paying for the call.... "Restricted it says"...Good lawyer for who? ..No-one That's incarcerated that's for sure!

Worst lawyer ever.He cut and run from our case and is vindictive, he bowed out from our case and attacked my character to the court in a court custody case, cause that is the kind of guy Mr. Fisher is folks. HE IS SUPPOSED TO BE MY LAWYER and he does not do his job, at all and bad mouths you to the court to sabotage your case when you don't stroke his ego properly.
We are in the process of reporting him to the state for his unethical business practices, fraud and hope he will get investigated and possibly disbarred, he really should not be a lawyer, he should be a technical writer somewhere. He does not respond to phone calls or emails, regardless if you have his secretary leave a message, he does not bother to email or return any of your calls until it is too late for you to do anything to progress your case appropriately. AVOID THIS LAWYER at all costs he will only make your case worse.
He is not interested in working with his client to achieve success. His ego is really high, and he is EXTREMELY touchy sensitive so if you are sharp with him like asking him a question, he can't handle it. He mostly can not handle it if the client asks too much about the case and suggests him to do things. I have a CPS lawyer from another state who is my best friend tell me "Why is your lawyer not responding to the opposing council's motions? He does have options regardless of Kansas procedures, why is he not doing anything?" I responded to my friend, "Well, we just do not have a very good lawyer sadly."
He does not research anything, and does only what he wants to do and brushes off proven established ideas you present him that other lawyers suggested he should do as NOT necessary. HE does not do his due diligence on your case. He is the guy that does not do his homework. He understands our opponents side and has more sympathy with that side than with our side.
We hired Mr. Fisher because upon consultation he came off responsible and intellectual. He drafted a great response to the opposing attorney's jurisdiction argument. When the case became completely his case he failed to consult with our Texas Lawyer, we explained what we wanted filed in regard to the child custody case, but he has since not responded to numerous emails, telephone calls and all attempts for his assistance. He comes off very disinterested in our case and we feel like while he might be great at drafting if he is motivated to do so he is ineffective at explaining his Clint's case during the hearings to the judge. We feel that if he properly performed his job in communicating the emergency custody situation the judge would not have wasted more time by ordering a mediation which was a waste of time. Meanwhile he doesn't prepare a response in opposition as we requested and sees to understand the favorable factors of our opposing attorneys case better than our case. We have not heard anything from him even after his staff said they would let him know to contact me for over a month even after the opposing attorney demanded he contact me by email!!!! He hides behind the computer and his staff and is not accessible and does not fight for your kids.
The only good thing about Fisher is that if you do to him what he does to you and ignore him when he is supposed to contact you......he has a fit like a baby and self terminates from the case cause he has to have his way, you don't even have to fire him, he fires himself. The only problem is he badmouths you to the court because the "J" in Benjamin J Fisher stands for "Jerk". If you do intend to hire this lawyer you must kiss his buttocks weekly so you can reassure his delusion of grandeur that he is at the very least above average. Again, avoid at all costs. I heard he does criminal defense also, wow, if you are a criminal and get this guy, you better hope there is no death penalty cause you gonna fry with BJ fisher on your case.
Hopefully we can save lives by geting this turd debarred.
