Typically I do not give bad reviews. This attorneys office definitely takes the cake though. I’m in a custody battle so I decided to hire a attorney even though I don’t technically need one. I hired Hunter Altic but Bob Briggs is the owner of the law firm. Well, from day one the receptionists were really bad/unprofessional about relaying information and getting my attorney to call me back let alone returning my calls when I asked about my case. Shay will talk lies behind your back to the attorneys. Dawn is flat out RUDE and very OPINIONATED even when she has no clue about the situation. The other lady I didn’t deal with much. They will not keep in contact with you. You’ll have to call and ask to get information regarding your own case. If I am not mistaken whenever you hire an attorney it is for them to fight for you since you’re paying them. Not the other way around. I had to call and call a few times. That’s only one out of the many issues I’ve had with them. I paid a down deposit of $500.00 and then was paying $250.00 a month to Hunter Altic. They randomly sent out a letter that required me to pay $1000 down deposit before the trial date. (Which wasn’t mentioned to me when hiring them) They could not even get my address right to send it to me after being a client of theirs for a few months. I ended up getting it late and literally had a week if that to come up with the $1000. Typically attorneys set an appointment for a “meeting” before a trial hearing. They waited until the last minute to sit down and do mine, literately the evening before. That was with me going into the office and Bob Briggs calling Hunter Altic into the office because he wasn’t there. Hunter Altic only went to court for me a total of TWO times and was NOT in the court room no LONGER than two and a half hours within those two times that he went. I had a trial date this past May at the end of the month and instead of Hunter Altic going ahead and fighting my case he wanted to continue it. He told me “I don’t want anymore of your money if I get it continued” I told him, I just need my baby back home. I really didn’t want it continued but he said it was best for my case. So we got it continued. Well, my sons father is very argumentative about things. Instead of listening and looking at the correct information he wanted to argue with me about transportation so I went in to talk to Hunter Altic to assure I wasn’t doing anything wrong. Hunter Altic was not there. Bob Briggs ended up asking me if I needed anything and I said “sure” I just need some advice on what was said (mind you during the time that I was in court with Hunter Altic I did ask him if I was legally able to transport my child and I was told that I was able to) whenever I tried explaining to Bob Briggs what happened and court he continued to interrupt me and not listen. I explained to him I was having my son’s fourth birthday party and may need to go to the store which was the reason for the transportation question. I wanted my youngest son to be there for his brother birthday. The day that I was having my oldest sons birthday party fell on the day that I was supposed to have my youngest son anyway. It all worked out. Well, Bob Briggs looked at me and told me if I was not spending one-on-one time with my youngest son it was going to look bad on me in court. I replied “WHAT IN THE WORLD, HOW COULD YOU SAY THAT? I then said the hell with my son‘s fourth birthday party, then right?” Then I left. Next thing you know I am dropped. They took their self off of my case and I was told through the phone because they still somehow couldn’t get my address correct after MESSING IT UP ONCE ALREADY. I have asked several times for a itemized statement. They had two weeks to get that. They are very unpredictable, unprofessional, rude and most of all I would not recommend my WORST ENEMY to this place! They finally gave my Itemized statement today July 2, 2019 and they charged me $65.00 several times for one of the receptionists to send me a message Facebook, are you kidding me right now????? Wow.

They’re unprofessional. They don’t call back. They’ll take your money. You’d be better off finding someone else.

Bob Briggs demonstrated professionalism and personal attention addressing all our concerns, was very knowledgeable and answered questions in a timely manner. He has been our attorney over 10 yrs. & we highly recommend him.

Paid $1500 to register a foreign order. Never got to hear from a judge, never set foot in the court house. Bob just told me 2 months later there was nothing that could be done.
I feel the situation was poorly handled.
I followed up 6 months later to just not receive a call back. I'm sure there busy but I simply don't recommend this Law Group/firm.
