The last few years the biological father of my child was pursuing, controlling, and not making expectations in the regards of parenting my child. Furthermore, I decided to go to Robert Teague for assistance. Robert was very persistent and advocated regarding my situation. He made critical suggestions and recommendations for my case, and was always very professional in his appearance in the deposition and mediation process. The situation was resolved in mediation and Robert was very mindful and persuasive regarding the legal issues we were forthcoming with during mediation with the defendants. Therefore, my gratitude was reached and leagel documentation was signed to give me less grief and frustration in the forthcoming raising our child!

Robert is an ethical and caring lawyer. He has true integrity. His fees are more than reasonable and I wish I could take the money back from the first lawyer, Kristin Pawlik, and give it to him. I wish I had hired him the first time around. He was my second lawyer because the first one was was unethical, did not do what she said she was going to do, is money hungry, and lacked insight into the serious deviousness of my spouse who calls himself "The Spook who Sat by the Door" a 1973 book about a black militant. We went to Mr. Robert Teague when we began our adoption process in April. He immediately began putting our profile out to the local mothers homes to help us connect with our future child. We ended up pairing with our sons family through other connections, but Robert was still quick to help us with the next steps, and to get our child’s natural family connected with their own representation. Our case was met with additional difficulty when we were told our son is Native American, and we would need to involve his tribe in the adoption as well. Generally, this is a major obstacle as the laws in place to protect the heritage of the child, can, and often do, prevent the adoption of these children to non-native parents like us.
Robert began addressing this issue quickly, and to the disbelief of many, actually obtained a letter of non-involvement from the tribe! Meaning our adoption went through with no interference from them. Other attorneys and experts on this matter were pleasantly astounded that he was able to get this letter.

We hired Robert several years ago to help with a custody case. From the start he falsely warned that we would lose our kid if we went to court. He meticulously charged us for every little thing he did....and it wasn't much. Shortly after he got in trouble from the bar association and was suspended for some time. Now that I see he is back in business I feel others should be warned.

We have since hired another lawyer who has gone out of the way to help us. If you want a lawyer who is more concerned about getting paid than actually helping people then he's your guy. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone.

Very professional

I had no idea what I was doing in the beginning. Robert did so well with my divorce case and made my situation not so akward. I was able to relax and he did everything on time and kept his word. We had a great experience with Mr. Teague. We certainty did not present him with an easy custody case, but considering how the state tends to treat fathers, we were very pleased! Mr. Teague was able to get us additional visitation time with our children after their mother moved them 4 hours away and tried to alienate us.
