I paid Steven Groce over 25k, and he filed a motion to withdraw the day of my sentencing. Good thing the judge wouldn't allow him to do so. He has no communication with the prosecutors office to work out any type of deals.

Shari's office was really good to us, even when I was not the most pleasant to deal with. My only real complaint was that sometimes I didn't seem to "get the memo" on things they needed from me. This could also be due to the fact that my ex husband was their primary contact.

Paralegal was extremely unfriendly on the phone and not helpful. Told me you can't do something when I knew, for a fact, a family member did it less than a year ago. Blocked me from speaking with the attorney until I demanded to speak with her. I had to leave a message with her, of course, to call me back. I called previously on a Friday and after being treated badly, I tried to call back to ask a couple of questions, the phone was not answered during business hours from 10a-2pm! When I finally asked for my money back to go with another firm, she started reminding me of the terms of our agreement. It was clear she has stated this a million times. This law firm should remember that people in bad situations requiring their assistance are scared and at an all time low in their lives. People don't file bankruptcy when their life circumstances are good! They need to be treated kindly and with patience. This is not something the general public has to do every day. Be patient and work on your customer service. Do not recommend using this firm!
