Benton Chafin, is also the chairman of the board of directors for The First Bank and Trust Company. First Bank conducted multiple lending law and regulations violations against me and my husband that defining dishonestly, deceit, lack of required loan application and disclosures that resulted in trapping us in a loan with First Bank against our personal home that we had years of investment, sweat equity and sacifics. The lender abuse continued throughtout 2013 and 2014 when my husband and I decided to bring the abuse to First Banks executive management, William Hayter CEO and President of First Bank. Today we have yet to receive a response to my complaints against First Bank's Forest Virgina Branches lending acts and practices that defined such an array of confusion, bac-dated documents, lack of regulated written documents by First Banks commerical loan officer that even First Banks Federal and Stste regulators could not make a proper determination in how the formation of our loan with First Bank occurred. Such co fusion and complexity that rendered our abilry to obtain legal counsel to protect our home. On June 5, 2015, First Bank contimued to show totla disrepect for its illegal conduct against us by giving the responsibility and authority our loans to First Bank's Forest agricultural loan officer who is not aware or educated in resdential lending. To top off the relationship on Novemner 17th 2016, by the authority given by First Bank to their who Mr Chafin is chairman of the board of directors agricultural lender the lender and Mr. Chafin foreclosed on our home after never a response to my complaints in regard to the loan officer who is responsible for the violations. The forclosure was held on a Thursday the following Monday Mr Chafin transferred the deed of trust to our home to First Bank to override the violation that our home was not legally suppose to be sold to one of there own. Today, one of First Bank's Forest Branches resides in our home having been allowed to purchase our home at a far less amount than we were being allowed to save it. Mr. Chafin has an interest in First Bank. Mr. Chafin is also a Senate for the 38th district of Virginia who is also one of the Senate Seats for the Virginia General Assembly. Mr. William Hayter CEO and president of First Bank is also the chairman of the Virginia Bankers Association. Our story is quite amazing. This relationship left us completely financially ruined and homeless.

This was the worst decision of my life to hire Ben Chafin to represent me as my divorce attorney. Mr. Chafin was never available to talk with me when it was necessary. He was in Richmond throughout the entire time I was being "represented". His political career was far more important to him than representing me in my divorce. Mr. Chafins secretary is the person who was representing me. I was married for 22 years, and now because of one clause that Mr. Chafin allowed to be put into my divorce decree, I now have 0 spousal support, and face losing my home.
