Please, whatever you do, DON'T HIRE THIS FIRM! They are unethical, irresponsible, and uncommitted. They are not at all concerned about their clients. I was in a very minor accident that resulted in serious pain and what I have been informed will be la lifelong problem with pain and limitations on physical capability. This group was one of five other firms that offered their services, and I was mislead enough by the initial contact person to retain them. Big mistake. They collected inaccurate information summaries, and insulted me when I met with them. At that point it was too late to change attorneys. There is some kind of a strange/irrational? bias among attorneys against those who try to change representation during the course of a case. In most cases, you can resolve the case on your own as well as an attorney can. In my situation, I could not do so. It was more complicated. After I met with the attorney for the first time, over a year after retaining the firm, I was shocked, and traumatized. The mean ness and coldness of the encounter was unbelievable. Then, they failed to follow through on cues from the defense and basically neglected the case. Having no other option, I contacted the Virginia Bar association and they told me to file a complaint. And I did. This hurt their tiny egos, so I withdrew it when they pretended they were going to behave like grownups and do their job. It was a ruse: they just wanted to protect their tiny egos. Anyway I have thousands of dollars of debt that I cannot pay, and shouldn't have to, because they defaulted on the agreement we had. Had I hired an ethical/competent firm, this would not have happened. PLEASE! BEWARE OF THESE UNETHICAL "LAWYERS". DO NOT RETAIN THEM.. ANY other firm will do a better job.

Me and my family were in a head on collision my fiance was driving and the trooper gave him a ticket for failure to maintain center because he swerved further on our side to avoid her she was also given a ticket but until we go to court and his ticket gets dropped cause everything clearly shows it was her fault my fiance has to work everyday in pain cause we can't afford him to miss work cause I'm laid up with a broke femur and on top of that we have two small kids but no one is willing to help him and I think this is piss poor on anyone's part just look at the troopers report and the pictures and everything this makes me so mad!!!!!! My family is suffering and no one will help!!!!

This law firm is a joke, if I could give them zero stars I would have. My son sustained severe injuries from a car accident (which was no fault of his own). They barely returned his phone calls, and no attorney ever talked to him or met with him. The few times that communication was established was by the paralegal or an email. They settled in a lower court without consulting my son first. My son asked an opinion from a different attorney in another law firm, they basically said this law firm screwed him over. He was forced to settle for the minimum amount. He is still suffering from his injuries today. In my opinion go to Skolrood Law in Roanoke if you're injured in an accident, they are amazing! My daughter had an automobile accident and went to Skolrood. They did a wonderful job handling everything.

We have bad accident back in March 2019 the other driver was at fault me and my Girl friend call here and there to get a good attorney upon contact with Crandall &katt the lady come to our home and ask us about the accident and make us very Comfortable that our case is very strong bla bla we got fool by the comments here on google map and rating but i would say that the rating and good comments here is post by their own ppl any way we did a big mistake to not to go to any other attorney and was get fool by the lady and sign the contract after few months the attorney Paralegal contact us and ask for all the documents and we was told that our case can be denied by the other party in whole time the paralegal was so mean and rude and trying to scared us our car was total lost and we have big bills to pay to hospital it took 6 months to solve the case the other insurance pay them big amount and end up we got nothing the attorney get 20 thousand in his pocket and pay us only $1200 i would suggest other ppl please to get fool by this service because they Are robber and steal other ppl money

Overall, I was thoroughly disappointed in the services I received.
Seventy- five percent of the time I had to initiate phone contact to keep updated on the status of my case. I had to ask for explanations about certain things that I think should have been a conversation at the onset of the process

I can honestly say that Ms McClain demonstrated an attitude of helpfulness and compassion. However, I had to initiate a phone call after an extensive lapse of contact only to be told the reason was she was.no longer employed there.

My initial contact and conversation with Caroline was strained. She, after promting on what the status of my case was informed me after several weeks that a "final offer" had been reached for a certain amount (I was never informed of an initial offer). After I expressed my dissatisfaction with the amount, primarily because it was less than the minimal quote of what Ms McClain had told me my case was worth. Caroline proceeded to tell me that "she " didn't think the insurer would go up any higher. After, some expression on my behalf she said she would contact them and ask.
My thoughts were that she had a lackadaisical attitude towards me and my case. At the onset of her taking over my case there was another instance of her demonstration of ....

At the end of the day, after all is said and done I expressed my disappointment over not getting at least what my case was worth.
I would not recommend this law firm to family or friends based on my experience because the ad on television was not truthful in my case.

Don't do it.... Never even met my lawyer ans he did not fight the fight. Literally said theres no more money when in fact I still suffer and see Doctors regularly! Did not even attempt to get extra medical help financially for what I have to pay for now!

I was rear-ended with my 8-month old in the backseat. We were both injured. The offer the insurance company made felt like a slap in the face. Dana Michie was in charge of my case, and she was phenomenal. She was very easy to work with and very clear and concise. I was compensated far beyond what I could've hoped for. When it felt like the insurance company didn't take seriously that my baby could've been seriously injured due to the negligence of one of their insured drivers, Crandall & Katt were there to let me know that I was not being unreasonable. I'm so grateful for Crandall & Katt and would highly recommend them to anybody that has been injured in an accident.

My sister and I got into a head on head collision with another driver,we won the case in court, months after signing papers with crandel I was told I would receive 40k and ended up with 15(before med expenses). My sister on the other hand whom was pregnant and had a three year old who substaned an injury which lead to surgery ended up receiving less than her bills. When we went to the office we meet crandle pulling up in his Hummer and was told 'insurance companies just weren't paying out'.
