Marty Melvin handled a family affair very poorly. Family no.1 already had him as an attorney without family no.2 knowing about it. When family no.2 looked for an attorney they went to him not knowing. He then insisted he could handle both cases. (This seems like a conflict of interest but what do I know I’m no lawyer)
After all was said and done without going into too much detail, family no.2 got the shaft.
There are a lot more details to this case that I will not discuss here because this is not my case but a close family that I know.
Clients beware! He would get zero stars from us if it were possible.

Very unresponsive. Be prepared to explain who you are, which lawyer, which They will either take a message or send you to a voice mail to the person that might be able to help you. If that person returns your call, it will be days or weeks. A piece of advice, get your services documented before you pay to avoid having to pay again when you don't have any documentation proving what you were told when they took your money. This experience has made me feel scammed.

Marty is HORRIBLE at communication!!!! Never once returned my emails, I was always the one contacting him. He would send paperwork to the opposing attorney without sending it to me first to okay it. Would get responses from the opposing attorney and not contact me for over a week. He would always rush me off the phone and acted like I was bothering him. Do NOT hire him, huge mistake, waste of time and money!!

He went to court and ask for a prayer for judgment after he told me not to worry. The point is he knew I had a Cdl way before the court date and a pjc is invalid for a Cdl holder. He will not return me calls or do anything to help me. He took my money and ran. Don't trust him.
