I originally had Samantha assigned to my case but due to an unforeseen circumstance John took over my case at the last minute. He was extremely professional and really fought for me to get the best possible outcome. The entire time we were in court he was talking to the trooper, prosecutor or me. While all the other attorneys were sitting still, John was fighting for me, trying to convince the very stubborn police officer and prosecutor that I deserved better than what they were trying to give me. For the speed I was going (95 on 55), I really deserved a license suspension and 10 days in jail and up to a $2500 fine. He was able to get me no license suspension and no real jail time with only a $500 fine. John Weiland is the best attorney regarding traffic cases in the area by far. I was caught going 104 mph in a 55 mph zone, in Henrico County that too, known for being very tough on high speed reckless driving. I was looking at a jail sentence, a fine of up to $2,500 and a 6 month license suspension. I ended up having absolutely no jail time, no license suspension, and only a $150 dollar fine in addition to court costs. This was all while doubling the speed limit, pretty much a guarantee to jail time.The price was worth every penny. Would highly highly recommend to anyone.

Mr Weiland defended me in a case of reckless driving (85mph in 60mph zone) in Virginia early 2018. I'm a NY resident, nevertheless Mr Weiland assured me that I was not required to be present at the court proceedings. This saved me taking off from work and also the expenses of traveling to Virginia.

My driving record is a bit spotty so I expected it being lowered to regular speeding at best, but he went above and beyond by speaking with the prosecutor and working it out beforehand. I do not know where to begin! I received a wreckless driving ticket in Henrico County Va, on the Willey bridge. There is a county officer who always sits at the end of the bridge. No one ever goes the posted speed and follows the flow of traffic down Chippenham to Paraham rd. I was the car in the middle of the pack and the officer pulled out and had to swerve around several vehicles going the same speed as all of us to get to me. I received a reckless driving ticket in March of this year, doing 88 in 70mph zone on I295 in Hanover County.
I'm from Canada and to my surprise, instead of getting a regular, albeit pricey ticket, it was RD charge and I had to show up in court, this was misdemeanor charge too! Needles to say I wasn't impressed and have been quite worried about implications, and having to show up for court thus spending hundreds of dollars on plane ticket alone.
