We were seldom able to get the same person twice. The way it was explained to me, they have different people who handle different aspects of the Chapter 13 filing, but it would be nice to have one point person. The whole bankruptcy proceeding was a nightmare to begin with, and I don't think Boleman did enough to explain what was going on. After we closed our filing out, we ended up still owing over $4500 to the IRS- apparently this is fairly common, and we were not

Boleman law got work done. Even well after my debt was discharged; I needed assistance with slimy debtors claiming I still owed them. Boleman eagerly helped me dispose of these greedy weasels.

My experience started off well...i did a chapter 13 paid a little over $500. I signed to have it atomatically come out of my pay roll. They informed me everything would be fine and to give it 1-2 billing cycles...to do the bankrupcy...it never came out of my payroll the payments fell behind and my case was dismissed...i now have to refile and pay another $500 to do it all over again..and then now to be told to keep a close eye and make sure the trustee sends the info to my payroll (which by the way..i called only to have them tell me they didnt get any information)....wouldnt recommend

I agree with Hadassah Yasharal's comment. The positive comments on here must be fake. I have been dealing with this company for almost 5 years now and cannot wait for this to be over. From my experience, they have more clients than they can handle. They do answer the phone but you leave a message and no one returns your call. You call them out on it, and they think you're being rude. IF YOU HAVE TO PAY YOUR BANKRUPTCY ATTORNEY UP FRONT/ BEFORE ANY OTHER CREDITORS...RUN FOR THE HILLS. Research all other companies or perhaps file yourself. They are quick to get your money and file the paperwork but after that, YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN. I am astonished by their rating so again, I cannot believe them to be true.

My husband and I have been working with Boleman law firm for our Chapter 13 case and while it’s been helpful for them to handle all the paperwork, they’ve given us false information twice with no way of fixing the issue so it falls on us. They’ve told us the incorrect payment timeline resulting in us being a payment behind without even knowing until we contacted the trustee directly. They also gave us false info about our bank accounts being closed after filing, which they weren’t.

I wouldn’t recommend them. When you call to get assistance, some will be quick to get you off the phone by telling you whatever sounds good and later when you call again and reference what the previous person told you, they act like you made
It up and put the blame on you. Just terrible. We

Went for a free consultation today and was told to file a chapter 7 would be over 1,600 and that with less than 5,000 in debt, and a 13 would be 700. I saw Amanda who could not inform me which filling would be better. I called to inquire on this enormous fee after leaving and spoke with an attorney by the name of Chris who was very rude in explain the fee and stated that ever case is different and that the attorney has the right to charge any amount they see fit there and he thought that fee was reasonable seeing as he charge 1,250 to file for All his customers. I was very taken back by this as I know several ppl who has filled with Boleman and said otherwise. I am sure there are other attorney there that may Not be this way, but I would advise seeking another law firm as first impressions are everything and I would Not want to deal with anyone who only obligation is to increase their pockets and make their customers feel the way I do now.

This is by far the worse bankruptcy case i ever had in history i filed a 7 it was fine i filed a 13 and it kept starting over without my knowledge..i will never ever be using them again! Even though errors in calculations occur on their end, their bottom line is it is the creditor's responsibility to catch errors. The receptionist and the two assistants (not sure if they were lawyers or not) were very helpful. When I sat down with them and they touched my case I felt very comfortable. They made me feel warm and invited into their office. The lawyer that helped me, I didn't feel like she was as personal as the two individuals that I saw moments before I met her. She only introduced herself by her first name. I didn't know if she was a lawyer or just someone else that was supposed to just help with my case. When she came in the office I suddenly felt uncomfortable. She explained what would happen if I decided to follow through with the process. I did not expect the process to be easy or free. However I did expect to receive help. I will admit that when she came into the room and started to talk to me I became a little agitated with her because I'm a young adult with no prior knowledge of bankruptcy or debt or the law around persons in debt. I could tell that because of my attitude change she also changed her attitude. I felt as if she gave me two ultimatums instead of two opportunities to get things right financially. I just recently am without employment but I have been working since I was fourteen years old and I am now twenty three. I was not looking for a bail out rather I was looking for help with a situation I obviously let get out of hand. Instead I left in tears because I felt as if I have no way out. I appreciate the kind words from the two persons that helped me before the lawyer did, you made me feel very comfortable about my drowning financial situation. Thank you.
