I will never....ever...have her as my lawyer again. I paid her $1500, for nothing. I called and left messages, no response. The front desk lady, should get her skills from Chick fila. I'm terribly, disappointed. Shelly Wood...You should do better.

Front office workers are extremely rude and clearly are not kind and caring. Pro Se divorcees beware. If you sign an acceptance waiver they tell you they will keep you informed, but they said “you signed the waiver we don’t have to tell you anything at this point”. I have never heard such unprofessionalism in my entire life! I will never be their client and if you are on the opposing side, stand your ground. They try to intimidate pro se (no attorney) opposing parties.

I hired Shelly Wood for a divorce case and she was so bad I ended up having to fire her and represent myself at my court date. Her office lost paperwork on numerous occasions and then would charge me for their time to replace them! Neither Wood nor her assistant were prompt with correspondence, and when I did speak with her she was often rude and would not listen to what I had to say about the situation.
