First meeting with Jason was all about selling himself and always being available. However that was not the case. I’ve waited over a month just to get a response. I have had to send several emails just to get the papers I needed and should have been sent when he received them and not several weeks later when it is too late. Literally had to send up to seven emails just to get a response and an update. Each email subject line reading “First attempt to get papers”, “second attempt to get papers” and so on. Once confronted about lack of communication and how poorly this is being handled all of a sudden the communication begins. But basically it was the blame game. Everything was everybody else’s fault. It was my fault I sent a screen shot of an email that had questions he wasn’t answering which resulted in him missing new questions. It was the other attorneys fault that he didn’t handle the case the way Jason is used to.

I have known Jason for nearly two decades; since law school. Jason is a very decent, honest, and ethical person. I believe he takes the job of lawyering very seriously and he practices in a very careful and methodical way. I have consulted with Jason on cases, we have shared clients, and I know that Jason really cares about getting the best result possible for his clients. I highly recommend him.

Janet Ewing is the best. I highly recommend her service for anyone who is looking for an attorney. Janet went above and beyond in settling my nasty divorce case. I like the fact that Janet was always on top of things. She was quick to respond to my emails and with filing& forwarding paperworks. To me, I find that Janet is an honest attorney. So honest that she was willingly to forward me her dialogue between her and the other counsel to inform/reassure me the status & updates of my case when asked. She's an awesome attorney so thank you Janet. I will be seeing you again with future legal matters.

Personally went through a very difficult divorce and child custody/support case, which Mr. Ewing and his professional staff were absolutely phenomenal. From start to finish, they took the time to quickly answer my questions and also accommodate same day office appointments. I live outside of the state and contacted Ewing Law Group when I was faced with a stressful, frustrating case and a very short time frame that would require them to travel to another county. I spoke with Jason Ewing, and during our very first conversation it became clear that he is an honest person of integrity. I explained my situation, and he took the time to answer all of my initial questions, then advised me that he could take my case but that it would be cheaper for me to choose someone closer to the county where my case was filed. Knowing my financial situation, he also offered to help me complete paperwork myself, but in the end, I asked him to take the case to avoid the stress, and I am so glad I did. Through the course of working with Jason, he was very professional, but I felt more like I was communicating with a friend than simply an attorney. I never felt rushed, or that he was “squeezing me in”, even though I had a deadline coming up when I contacted him.
He was very knowledgeable, and was always willing to answer any and all of my questions, no matter how annoying I’m sure they were. I tend to worry but he never discouraged my “what if” questions and was patient and understanding of all my concerns. He took the time to break things down into simple terms and make sure that I understood things clearly.
I was impressed with his consistent promptness in returning calls and emails – there are attorneys who figure once they have your money, you are basically stuck, so you can wait until they get around to dealing with your situation. He informed me that he believes if he is being paid to perform a service, he owes it to his clients to address their concerns as soon as possible, which is something I really respect. He was very thorough, and I appreciated that if I sent him an email, he made a point to address each issue individually – I never had to email him again or call him back because something was overlooked.
Jason went above and beyond in my case, and we got the outcome we wanted. I would not hesitate to recommend Ewing Law Group to my friends and family, and would call him immediately if I ever needed legal assistance in the state of California in the future.

I was not happy with the detail that was taken in my case. There were several items overlooked, and it cost me a chunk of money. I felt like they were in a hurry to settle and get it over with. I was never reassured by them. It felt like they were working for the other party most of the time. They were not clear on explaining the details on decisions I had to make. They kept throwing in my face that I was about out of hours. I think this was to get me to settle. I lost a lot because of this law group. They made me feel on guard the entire time. They have no fight or bite. I would not recommend them to anyone. Maybe if your kindergarten child stubs their toe.
I understand I had a legal group contract, but I still should've been represented better.
