I am so grateful that I found the Berkowitz Law Group. I had filed bankruptcy with another St. Petersburg firm and had been given some bad legal advice which left me exposed and in danger of losing virtual all my possessions. At a critical juncture in the bankruptcy preceding the Trustee objected to a motion and a hearing was set up in front of the judge. The other law firm did not show up for the hearing in open court and I found myself facing the US Trustee, two other lawyers and a Judge who told me that I needed to find different representation as my current attorney was no longer able to continue to practice law. I was instructed to be back in court in 2 weeks. I called 3 law firms in Saint Petersburg and two refused to pick up my case and one could not see me for 2 weeks which was too late for the next hearing.
Then things changed for me. I found the Berkowitz law firm. I called late in the afternoon around 5 pm and Attorney Jesse Berkowitz said he would meet with me the following morning at 9 am to discuss my situation. The next morning I met with Jesse and Jen who had my court documents and had an understanding of my situation. We then developed a sound strategy to proceed with my case to get the outcome my wife and I was looking for.
