I would not recommend because I hired John Smitten out of this office who stole my money and did a horrible job representing me. Later I found out Mr. Smitten was arrested, and then later disbarred. Would love an apology for the mess that was created in my case because of my poor representation.

Attorney McGuire charged a high retainer and then after a couple of weeks did not appear to be knowledgeable on current law or ethical protocols. When I questioned this situation I was met anger. I would not recommend this attorney or this office for any legal matter representation. I secured alternate legal representation and my issue was resolved fairly as my new legal council worked on my behalf, not against me as McGuire was doing. I am still waiting after 2 years for my refund for services not rendered from McGuire Law.

HORRIBLE-Still paying THOUSANDS of dollars after they claimed to be an Appellate firm for Family Law. We had DVI which was ignored completely, and my child's been living out of state since 6/2017 with no contact with false allegations. Case was handled by disbarred attorney who used to work there and Appeal was filed incorrectly. I hired expert specialists to sort out all the errors after being yelled at in their office. They LOST our medical and legal records provided after shredding them, mailed USB I supplied in an empty envelope blaming the post office for "tampering". There's NO way I'd EVER recommend this place being told to move out of State while Appeal was pending-entirely disappointing and disgraceful! I requested a refund and was told to have malpractice attorneys call them.

I can only speak on my experience with disbarred attorney John Smitten. Unfortunately I let him represent me in a family court matter in which he not only gave the worst legal advice, refused to file proper motions when court orders were not being properly followed. This law firm is a joke. I was told after my accident that IF they driver of the other car did not have insurance there would be an asset check. I was told that they would do everything they could. I did not have uninsured motorist and made them aware of this. I wasn't in a "brand new car" either. After the final police report came out, they dropped my case because "I didn't not have U/M" Thanks for nothing. Its okay. I have another law firm that took my case. Glad to know that there are still some law firms that work for the people and not just themselves. Overall.... I would advise that someone do their research first. They don't have a big fancy building for no reason. I am sure that individuals that "have insurance " in both parties this law firm would like that. that is the ideal situation Although I do feel lied to about what they could do, it is okay. What goes around comes around.

Just horrible. I would never reccomend this firm. We only went for a consult, first we were told we would be meeting with John regarding us getting custody of my sister and instead we go into the board room with this young guy who had no idea what to do, he even told us he didn't have much experience....not a great way to instill confidence. Then when John actually came in he spent the majority of the time saying how unsual it was we got married young and how weird it was my husband is a SAHD while I work. We barely got any advice regarding our situation becuase we had to listen to him talk about how great he was, how many TV channels he was on (????) and the young kid just played on his phone! So completely unprofessional and I'm glad we went with someone else.
