This law office is a complete joke. They take your money then never return your calls. The girl in the office debbie is the most rude and down right the most unprofessional person I have ever spoken to in a office setting. No doubt she has to be a distant retarded relative of Melanie. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND HIRE SOMEONE ELSE

Save your money! Debbie Does nothing but lie to clients and when you call her out on it she curses you out and hangs up. It’s been 3 months and I can’t get any answers or returned calls so I had to hire a real lawyer. Should have read the reviews first

I'm sitting here reading all your vague accounts of how you were ripped off and let's be practical if your guilty your guilty I dont see why you expect her to change that. Her and her staff all work hard you forget there are what 3 or 4 of them how many of us calling all day but want an immediate response clearly no one realised the amount of dedicated it takes to make that firm run smoothly! In my personal experience she and her staff especially Deborah have far exceeded my expectations. They continue to work diligently on our behalf and that of my step daughter! The grotesque reviews are disheartening and very disturbing it's sad people can slander such good people. Yet I highly doubt many of you will comprehend half of this review. So let's break it down to ocala terms. Mel and her staff are incredibly and wouldn't have any other lawyer guide and navigate us through the judicial system.

Dealing with the sumter and marion county justice system is very difficult. Melanie did a good job for me and got my out with an ok deal. The ppl in with public defender were sitting for 90 days on misdemeanor petty charges. If your charges are bad in these counties there is nothing that can be done they profit from keeping the jail full so melanie does what she can.

To the great people of State Florida and in Marion county Florida .by observing and watching this attorney in the courtroom she is a money making fast talking promising prophetess who claim she can work miracles for you but at the end of the day you are still locked up in the devil's den broke waiting on lying Melanie to rescue you. TIME SERVED ! While you are waiting.

I wouldn’t recommend her at all she takes your money and then never gets back with you and shes never in the office n her secretaries all they do is lie for her and say she will be back n she never does poor communication skills she has took our money and everytime we call she is on vacation or not in the office

Melanie Slaughter is AMAZING. She works hard, fast & efficient. She helped me by getting me help that I needed & forever changed my life. I appreciate Melanie & staff for helping me. I would recommend her time & time again.

Meloni slaughter is the worst lawyer ever she got my brother a plea bargain he was suppose to be doing a few months in prison his time is up and he is still sitting do to her lying saying he was doing a turn around he was suppose to get out april 2019 now his release date says Feb 2020 listen guys if you have any since run away from her she takes your money and stops responding and her team will ignore your call once they remember your number it's sad I don't see how she is still in the lawyer field her privilege of being a lawyer is needs to be taken away asap if I could rate her a no stars I would she doesn't deserve any stars rip off any suggestions on how to make a complaint with the Florida bar
