Rebecca Anne Guthrie helped worked on a civil matter regarding my son and ex-wife. I had sought out a few dozen attorneys over the course of 15 yrs who were unwilling to take my case because of the difficulty it presented. Rebecca took on my case and believed enough in me to resolve the issue. Her knowledge and understanding of the law and her ability to gain the respect of the judge was humbling to watch. I was advised to sign a MSA and then sued by my EX for contempt because Mr. Shellnut left our MSA open to more than one interpretation. He charged me $39,000 to settle out of court over the course of 9 months. If you want agreements to be left ambiguous choose Mark Shellnut. He is now suing me for $10,000 of his attorneys fees. Lol. Just look at the public court docket to see how many of his clients he has sued for not paying his exorbitant amount of attorneys fees. He is as greedy and as selfish as they come. There are much better human beings and lawyers in town you can hire with your hard earned money. Listen to my advice, you will be glad you did.

Mark Shellnut embellishes attorneys fees and will charge you twice what any other attorney in town will. Not to mention over look key arguments run your case.

Secretary was very evasive about trying to talk to Mark, causing him to lose an opportunity to represent a good friend in a possible million dollar case, when I tried to tell her I knew him personally and that he had represented a client that I had sent him before. I certainly hope that Mark reads this himself and not the receptionist because I know that he will not get this statement

In my opinion, Mark Shelnutt is the sort of man that would put all of his assets into his "current"'s name, to avoid paying his child support.

He didn't have any concern as to what was going on illegally. Hindsight being 20/20, he didn't, do ANYTHING to get evidence together.

After we finally got to court for the false restraining order that was (obviously) used to gain control of custody by my then spouse, he asked MY SPOUSE questions about my past. The spouse lied to mark. Mark turned to me, said, "you finish up here, then get to my office. If you ever lie to me again, I will not longer represent you.", then left me alone in the middle of the hearing.

For years after, the few times we did see each other in public, his eyes went straight to the floor.
As far as I'm concerned, you owe my family about 30k for what we had to go through for the next 19 months....

The worst family law attorney in central florida they are wonderful at billing you and harrasing you for money that they truly do not deserve. 50/50 time sharing and i pay the state max in child support. I owe $644 and never went past the mediation and was totally embarrassed when i showed up and my ex wife told me what i was getting garnished the next pay period. Almost a year no devoirce and i paid top dollar for there service.

Unless you have more than 4k in the bank they are useless they never answered my calls and they used up my funds. I settled with my ex for a better deal than they could come up with. Mark argued with me in open court. I lost custody of my son for two months right after I got them on the job. These guys don't know what they are doing they are just rude I fired them and decided to go it alone before my divorce was over I hope this keeps people from making the same mistake I did. I would recommend my exes attorney over Shellnutt George Cologne that guy is evil but at least knows who he is fighting.

Excellent Law office. Their lawyers are up front and honest, they are not there to take your money and make a mockery of the legal system. Excellent paralegal staff produces professionally written documents and do an excellent job of working with the attorneys. Friendly and compassionate office staff. Good legal representation is expensive, you can expect a good ROI when you use this legal team.
