I am sad to say that my experiences with this firm have not been to my liking, considering I was referred by a good source. My agent was not on top of things. The person was out of the office more than in the office. Never returned my phone calls within 72 hours, etc. Why me? Please fix this Communication wasn't executed properly at all

Jeannette Flore was assigned to my dog bite incident.
Dog bit me on my thigh and the dog owner was not willing to pay the medical bill cost out of my pocket. When I contacted Simmons and Fletcher, they assigned Jeannette Flore to handle the case. Once she took over the case it took 3 months to find out that dog owner's home owner insurance does not have coverage for dog bites and they no longer wants to handle the case. I understand the law is not right and not being able to handle the cases that they cannot make money out of, but process(contacting insurance company to find out about the dog owner's home owner policy) should have been much quicker. She only emailed the insurance company once without calling them.
That 3 month waste of time made the dog owner more negligent to respond to me. I called Jeannette, left voice mail, email many times without return. It takes about 4~5 voice mail/e-mail and few days to get hold of her.
Bottom line, I would never use this law firm.

I am not a client of theirs, but rather met with them for an initial assessment of my case in order to discuss my legal options in dealing with a dishonest/unscrupulous insurance company. They gave me over an hour of their time and never pushed for me to sign a contract with them. Their attorney was incredibly professional and provided me with sound, ethical advice and even suggested that I continue to negotiate with the insurance company on my own to maximize the amount of the settlement that would go towards satisfying outstanding medical bills (when he could have easily urged me to get an attorney immediately to maximize their revenue). Moreover, the integrity that the firm demonstrates in their fee structure impressed me considerably (that is, the firm has a policy that they will not allow the practice to effectively pocket a greater amount than the remunerations a client receives from a judgement). Not many other firms do that--many attorneys will typically take their 33% / 40% regardless of whether the client recoups any money after paying outstanding liabilities/medical costs). I was very impressed with their people and their ethical practices and would not hesitate to work with them or encourage others to do the same.

Terrible service, unprofessional and lack of communication. Not willing to fight for my 82 year old mother and 63 year old sister that were injured in a hit & run, even after GEICO admitted responsibility. I called my contact unprofessional since I left 3 messages the last time and after 2 weeks she still hadn't returned my call. This wasn't the first time I had to reach out to her and not get a response from her. I had to call again, demand to speak to someone else to complain and guess what? She answered the call, after calling her unprofessional, she said she could no longer represent me. Truth hurts? She called my mother the next day and was rude and loudly told her the same thing. Christians? Maybe not all of their employees. They should do their job & FIGHT for their clients. They left my mother hanging with bills she can't pay now, still hurting and a vehicle not repaired. If I could give a negative 10+, I would.

I called them in hopes of getting information regarding my denied claims for SSI. They couldn't help me but referred me to another attorney. Stephanie Gomez was assigned to my case. I appreciated her efforts in trying to get me the money I deserved from a rear ended car accident. Too bad insurance companies judge your bodily injury and pain from the damage your car sustained. From this car accident, I not only suffered whiplash but also a herniated disc in my lower back to which the insurance company argued it was from a prior incident...so not the case. At the end of the day, I wasn't really satisfied with what I received from this case but was still willing to give at least 4 stars b/c Stephanie was so nice and professional. However, when I received a check last week I was confused. Before I could call and ask what the check was for I received an email saying it was a mistake and don't cash it because they would be putting a stop payment on it. I thought that was pretty unprofessional. You should know who you are sending checks to before sending them. I'm not sure if I'll use this firm again.

It was a rough start primarily because like everyone one else I didn’t understand the process of a lawsuit. You start to become frustrated with the thought that you are not receiving the appropriate amount of attention but you must further understand that it takes a while and it’s most of the time the fault of the insurance adjuster and not your lawyer.
