I think she was trying to make sure representing me was in the best interest of the children before she agreed to work with me. I admired that about her. Getting shared custody as a male is not easy in Texas. Amy made sure that I was a great father and that this was really in the best interest of our children. for two main reasons.  First, the price was good value - not the cheapest but great value for the service and not emptying my bank account either.  Second, they were one of the few law firms I contacted who actually had a lawyer available to speak to me to answer some initial queries.  I understand a lawyer's time is valuable but so is my mine - being able to speak to an attorney to get an idea of their skills and suggestions was key.  It is reassuring to be able to get correct and straight answers in my initial phone call something I didn't get from several other firms.
