I retained this firm to file a motion to gain full custody of my young son. I explained right from the beginning what it was that I needed and how delicate the situation was. A letter was dictated on my behalf to send to the opposing party, and was kindly sent to me for my review before sending. I was absolutely appalled when I read the letter and realized that my young son could have written something more professional. In turn I had to rewrite the entire letter myself and send it back to them telling them what I needed. The attorney's secretary reformatted the letter and sent it back for my review. The letter was far from perfect but I needed it to go out as soon as possible. Needless to say I ended up being able to work out an agreement with the opposing party on my own and no longer needed Mr. Schuler's services. I requested a refund of the portion of the $2000 that I had retained him, but not used. It took them nearly a month to get it to me and they had charged me $660 to write that letter that I had to rewrite myself. They are a very nice firm with very nice people, however, they are not the best at responding promptly to emails or text messages (the attorney will respond to text messages) and you may want to very carefully review anything they write before it goes out.

He is a fraud! he took my money for a divorce, and did not file anything. i waited 6 months for my divorce, and 1 week before it's finalized I learned my case was voided 4 month prior because Marc did not pay the court fees!!! which is odd as I paid him everything from day one. Horrible horrible lawyer. His team is also bad, his secretary Donna does not email back, and refused to send me my court documents, then I learned its because they didn't file anything. Then they told me the court had lost my documents and there was a delay. I called the San Diego court, and they informed me they cant loose documents because its the court! and the case was voided. I read through some of the other reviews and I couldn't believe that the negative reviews were written about the same firm that I have done business with multiple times.
