Very knowledgeable and informative regarding estate planning, wills, etc. There were many aspects of the process that my husband and I were not aware of, and we were glad that we chose David Karp for the process.

David Karp and his team strike a perfect balance between professionalism and caring. They explain complex concepts in easy to understand terms and take time to answer questions, as opposed to simply reciting a set of facts by rote. Having recently relocated to Arizona, my wife and I were fortunate enough to attend a seminar on estate planning conducted by David Karp and staff. As a result, we engaged the firm: our wills updated, trust established, financial documents reviewed, health and medical documents executed, including establishing an LLC. All of this was coordinated with external parties by the staff led by Stephanie Watkins, with oversight by David Karp. The office is well-organized, professional and knowledgable in law regarding trusts and many of the ancillary issues in establishing such documents. Reviews were scheduled during the process to ensure continuity and compliance with the law and our wishes; and preparation for the next phase of the process. The conclusion did not end the effort; support and follow-up will continue should the need arise. It is indeed rare to encounter such a professional organization - without having prior experience or a relationship - and achieving an outcome that exceeds one's expectations.

I would recommend that you steer clear of Mr. Karp. He had his secretary Nicole call my office for moving services the day before his move because the movers he had lined up did not show up for his move. She was quoted our minimum charge for his move and agreed to the charges for the move. The movers completed Mr. Karps move the next day first thing in the morning, once the move was complete Mr. Karp refused to pay his bill. Mr Karp was extremely rude and unprofessional when I called him to collect payment for the move. If this is how he handles business with another company I can only assume that is the same way he treats his clients

His webpage touts his knowledge, however I just had a tax client who came in that he did not inform that they needed to file trust returns. In addition, he helped them close their fathers trust but did not do the simple process of applying for a new EIN for the trust for her sister that was created when the original trust was dispersed. Until 4 YEARS later.

We met with David Karp to revise our personal documents, including trust, will, etc and were pleased to find him to be so knowledgeable, thorough and trustworthy. His entire staff to include Meredith and Eileen were friendly, organized and always helpful. He had several services relevant to the Trust that we found unique and helpful. He also provides educational seminars which my husband and I found helpful even if we had not chosen to use his services.

We recommend him and his staff highly.
