Mr. Atkerson was very generous with his time in answering my questions regarding both Forced Arbitration and Non Compete Agreements. He was straight forward and translated the legalistic verbiage a form easily understood to me. I regret the day I contacted Dan Atkerson for a lawyer to represent me in my discrimination case. I felt discriminated by him because I didn't have what he could benefit from in reference to how he stated that I would not recover that much in damages. He should have told me that he was not interested like other lawyers would have done versus getting mad because I did not benefit from his free services. Listen to the tone of this attorney and you will see that he doesn't care about his client's, he lied i never hired him to write a settlement because my employer refused to sign my loss of wages form so why would they settle and the only thing this lawyer do is brag about how many years that he has been a lawyer. i have lost my lawsuit altogether because he dropped me and left me with less than 45 days to file a time sensitive case. i was already struggling financially after my car accident and I needed a lawyer to file a lawsuit. i told him i had a brain injury so i am needing to understand the process he told me that he had to send a settlement notice first because that was protocol. i signed in confusion because he never seem to understand what I was saying because the only thing he was worried about was how much could he get and i feel like he did not want to work on my behalf. After he conversed with my former employer he didn't even contact me I had to contact him because I was scared because my statue of limitations date was approaching. he was rude and threatened to sue me for slander for telling how I was done. Listen to his response on AVVO he knew who I was and that is why he tried to basically say I wasted his time because I only had seasonal employment and 6 weeks left....as he stated. Problem was i was discriminated against after having a car accident and i hired a lawyer to fight for me and I was dropped and now the stress of every day living has caused me my lawsuit. He stated I went to EEOC he is right that is why the investigator told me to request a right to sue because if my employer is not willing to settle I have to file a lawsuit. Dan just wanted easy money from me and when he couldn't get it he lied and hid behind his profession of 32 years. You see the fact he didn't know the previous AVVO reviewer he didn't go into too much detail or he would have express his disgust with him as well. However, the two of us are saying the same thing. He drops his client no explanation!There is nothing in the world for free. Sometimes free cost you more than something you pay for and I did not ask for his free service this is what he promotes and when someone doesn't agree or is satisfied with him he started screaming about no one paid for his time he does it for free. You have been warned but hey try him for yourself he sounds knowledgeable but he will drop you.......
