A number of years ago, I needed a prepared, proactive, and ethical attorney to represent me in a legal matter. Unfortunately, I was duped into paying a huge retainer to hire Attorney Jeffrey Fletcher, and he possess none of these qualities. His office manner was grandiose with talk of big deals and the right connections to make things happen, but after depositing the $20,000 retainer, ($10,000 to be refunded if we did not go to trial, no trial, but never refunded) his enthusiasm disappeared as quick as my families hard earned money. Clumsy and nervous courtroom manner, like a school age child without homework, he pushed for a plea, as that take takes minimal effort. Do yourself a favor and hire a competent, proven attorney with positive reviews, and forget this guy. At am minimum, ask a few people in whatever town he last "practiced" about their experiences, as he tends to move around a bit.
