I think that this firm can do a great job for someone requiring a bankruptcy. However, I don’t believe that the advice given is always in the best interest of the individual in order for them to make money.
I met with attorney Keith back in 08/18 to file a case. He went through the numbers and advised that based on all of the information provided, that I would qualify. Because on that information alone, I signed up with the firm.
Since that time (as you can see, it’s been 1 1/2 years), I finally was ready to move forward with the case. After finally submitting all of my documentation, I was advised that I no longer qualified because of income that they did not calculate at the onset of the case (the income was always there). When I asked about a refund, I was advised that the money paid was, “earned upon receipt,” which meant that he had earned his money the second that I gave it to him though he did NOTHING on my case outside of an intake sheet and pulling my credit report. As evidence to the same, you can see from the attached that when I requested a copy of my “file,” it included the intake file that I completed, the bankruptcy worksheet, and my credit report. Apparently that totals $1,715 because that’s how much of my $2,300 they kept.
Beware of their billing practices and advice regarding whether or not you qualify. Read the fine print. Hopefully I save someone $1,700!
*Also, I should have known something was fishy when he proposed a creative way for him to receive payment. Buyers beware.

We would like to thank Keith and his team for all there hard work. They were able to provide us with a peice of mind during my families financial stressful situation. They went above and beyond. I have never “yelped” before...but my kids all do so I thought “why not”. I just wanted to say something about Atlantis Law Firm. We all know the lawyer jokes and we all hope we never need one...until we do. The others were very matter of fact and a little on the ......chilly".....side.
