Divorce can be, and often is, a traumatic experience. Early on in my divorce process, David recognized the kind of person I was dealing with, but I didn't want to see it. He counseled me to look out for myself more but I was hesitant to do so for many months. But sure enough, my Ex showed her true colors, in blindingly bright technicolor -- enough for me to finally stop being blind and see who I was really dealing with. Finally, I followed David's advice, and in the end that advice kept my Ex from completely taking me to the cleaners. Throughout the contentious divorce, David was always calm and collected. He studied the complexity of facts and ended up negotiating a settlement with my Ex's attorney, who was not as informed and astute. The strategy he came up with worked better than we expected. Things could have gone much worse for me. David steered me through a very difficult divorce against an extremely contentious litigant on the other side, and got me out in far better shape than I otherwise would have been in. If you're reading this, I sympathize with you. You need good counsel like David.

David met with me yesterday on very short notice for a consultation regarding my divorce case. From the very first minute, he put me at ease. He listened to the details of my case and provided very helpful but realistic advice. He showed genuine involvement and care in my case. He spent way more care with me than the allotted 30 minute consultation but ended up waiving any additional fees. David showed he really wanted to help me rather than just collect a fee. This is the kind of lawyer you want on your side when going through something as traumatic as a divorce.

Update 8/16/19: David helped me through a very long difficult divorce. The opposing party tried to keep my daughter from me and was unreasonable about everything. David helped me fight (and win) for what was most important, joint custody of my daughter. My favorite thing is David doesn't use a secretary to screen his calls. He answers the phone personally and was always there when I needed his help.

The attorney is very knowledge and explains throughly. He is honestly the only attorney we have talked to that actually tries to help you understand the process. It is very hard trying to deal with a custody case and not knowing what’s steps make it a lot harder, we have been referred to him by a family friend and honestly I cannot thank both of them enough. He looks at every single detail on the case and every scenario. If you try to make your process easy please do yourself the favor and make your life easier.

Uncontested Divorce. David was a very hard worker - organized, following-up and helping push me to meet my needs of filing and serving and getting the divorce finalized up to the 6 month waiting period IN FIVE DAYS, total. He was there. He charged a fair price - neither cheap, nor expensive - and he exceeded what he needed to do to earn that fee.

Attorney David Goldberg is a moral family lawyer and a high litigator in the Court room. I met David after interviewing 4 attorneys in Orange County, California. I can't get more satisfied. My case involved divorce and child custody. From the moment I talked to Mr. Goldberg on the phone to schedule the initial meeting, he put me on the right track. We met the next day for two hours for no charge. Mr. Goldberg explained to me the process from beginning to end and all available options as well as their costs. Mr. Goldberg listened carefully, assessed my situation, and then recommended the best options that weren't necessarily the highest cost as other lawyers did. He even greatly cut my total cost in this case. I am a father and it is not easy for a father in California to get a joint legal and physical custodies 50/50 and he was willing to pursue for more if I wanted to and that was not due to weakness points in my opponent rather than how good and clear he represented me before the court. I remember him saying when it came to the custody that the way to go in these cases is to focus on the children and their best interest and that what the court wanted and he is the best when it comes to satisfying that. Best of all, he wasn’t very costly or expensive compared to other law firms or lawyers and he was very flexible when it came to payments.
