Dave Degnan is the business lawyer that everyone should have as part of their team. Dave reviewed all of my leases and gave me help that make me confident signing this onerous document. Dave makes explains legalese in ways that are so easy to understand. What I like most about Dave is that he truly cares about my issue more than he cares about billing me for time. But his charges are fair and worth the cost. Thanks Dave!

Mr. Degnan has been my attorney since before he started his firm. I have great confidence in his advice and representation. I can recommend his law firm with confidence. Scott Whitwam - Designated Broker, Allison James Estates and Homes
Dave is a very thorough and knowledgeable attorney I have had the pleasure dealing with. I wouldn't want him to be on he other side. He has provided me with advise on many occasions beyond what was expected from him. I want to see him do great, hope there was more attorneys like him around. Ethical, knowledgeable attorney, always puts clients first. I wish I could give him a 100 stars.

David has been there for all of my real estate clients needs. No matter what part of the Valley our clients are located, Mesa to Phoenix and even Scottsdale, David is happy to tackle their real estate issues. He has helped one of my clients resolve a Seller Disclosure issue and another resolve an issue with a tenant almost immediately.
David is a super aggressive real estate attorney that insures you are protected and well represented. I have and will continue to refer all of my Real Estate Clients to David for any legal issues they run into.

As a successful CRE Agent of 12 years, I deal with lawyers weekly. Never before have I met a more friendly, practical and informative lawyer. I have placed him as our point man on deals ranging from 26 Acre Industrial land projects requiring specific land knowledge to large office projects with multiple moving parts. His attention to detail and ability to meet the deals timeline without compromising quality of work is a trait I value. I look forward to closing many more deals with Mr. Degnan and his team.

When it comes to Arizona real estate law and real estate attorneys, David truly takes it to the next level. He's kind, patient and truly cares about his clients. The mutual clients that we have together have nothing but great things to say and it's clear that he's the go to guy for a solid Arizona real estate attorney.

Although Dave normally doesn't drive to clients offices he came to me on a special request. He was very knowledgeable, informative, and fun to work with. He drove all the way from Phoenix to Mesa to help me with the new business formation that I'm considering. While we were here we also got talking about real estate law. It's funny how we were able to talk so long to help each other grow our businesses.
Next time I'm going to have to drive from Gilbert to Phoenix to go see him. I'm going to have a conversation with him about my office lease dispute. I'm wanting to buy a building and the current space I'm Leasing has less than perfect expectations.

Was pretty unimpressed with my experience here. The lawyer, Mr. Degnan, seemed very unprepared for our meeting which was a 300 dollar hour long consult and I felt the whole time he was just trying to rush me out. I could quickly tell he hadn't read the documentation or lease I had sent him based on a couple questions I asked early in the meeting. He barely seemed to know much at all, accurately, of my current situation.
His solution to my situation was for him to quickly write up some draft of a letter he said I should send the business I was having an issue with and just kind of left that as the answer "here I wrote up what you should say just send them a letter like this." No talk of what could happen after that, how I should follow up based on how the business replies to that letter, what the consequences of the letter could be, nothing really. Just here real quick send a letter like this to them, that's what you should do - followed by like a facial expression of hope that I would just be satisfied with that and leave. Which, after 30 minutes, I did since he seemed so disinterested in the whole thing. He also had to get up literally 5 or 6 times to print out general laws that apply to the situation I was in since, as I said, he was unprepared.
So, 300 dollars for 30 minutes of a lawyer that seemed ready for me to be out the door the second I came in. It was clear he didn't see my case as something he would want to take on, which is completely fine with me. But at least be prepared and give me the time I'm paying for. Put some actual effort into the person who is paying for your time.
I would give 1 star, but I'm giving 2 because he was at least open to me emailing him follow-up questions after the meeting which I thought was cool.

Without explanation, staff turnover left me for three weeks without email responses, acknowledgments or contact. Not a good experience.

He wasn't really prepared for our meeting and wasn't very knowledgeable regarding our HOA situation. Still needed help and so glad we went to Bainbridge.

Dave handled a complex , difficult, joint venture partnership dispute. He is a very good lawyer, but just before arbitration, he made the mistake, of turning the 2 year old case, he handled, since day one, over to a co worker. The new lawyer cast too broad a net, and could not prove the things he was going after.
We lost the case, I lost my $50-60 k in attorneys fees. I was telling them the whole time, only go after the breach of signed mediation agreement. And the defendants failure to review tax returns, which we both signed and agreed to in mediation. Which was why Dave took the case, as it was an easy win. The co worker went after that, but also went after unprovable hidden potential profits, off other jobs. We lost because he did this against my advice. I knew the case, the former mediator, I lived it for years. You hire a lawyer to win, and get your lawyers fees paid.
The 8 hour arbitration, felt like I was in the passenger seat, of a airline pilot. On his third flight, in strong winds. Vs if Dave degnan had saw the case through, he would have listened to me, to forget going after possible buried treasure, that I said from day one, was nickel and dime stuff, to not do.we would have won, and I would have been paid my attorney fees.vs having to pay mine and the $15 k of the defendant.
I own 3 businesses, and am 60 years old. I am no stranger having to hire a lawyer. This was the third arbitration in 30 years. I won the other 2.

Mr. Degnan and his wonderful staff did a phenomenal job. They made the right arguments, achieved a favorable result with a fast turnaround, with reasonable/no hidden fees. When a legal issue has you losing sleep, I would highly recommend Degnan Law for peace of mind.
