Speaking from experience. I contacted Belen to help us with an atrocity perpetrated by the crooked DA and his cronies from CA regarding a homicide charge. That is scary. We would have never expected something like this. Only ever had 1 traffic ticket.I had spoken to a couple other attorney after my initial contact with Belen. Belen represented my son in an embezzlement charge (which he admitted to doing). Instead of the seven year state prison hanging over him she was able to negotiate a one year county jail sentence (with work furlough) and probation. She was very good to work with from pre-arrest to booking to initial appearance to status update sessions at the court she was always there for us. I highly recommend her for criminal defense.

This is the best, smartest lawyer/person I have ever met! When my brother was sorounded by police we called her she imediatly got my brothers phone number, hung up on us and called him, he made my brother put the phone on speaker and yelled at the police,she let them know who was in charge, she stopped everything, she got them to leave my brother alone, she let them know it was not going to be easy for them. We could hear the Mesa Police triying to argue with her but she knows what she is doing and I think one of the cops knew her. We were not allowed to get close so this was our only chance to intervene. This event was at 11:00pm on a Sunday night, if Belen did not answer our call and talk to the cops my brother would of been arrested that night. It was a month later when a detective called my brother. Belen had alreafy told my brother not to answer any unavailable calls so a detective had to leave a message for him. We gave the name and number of the detective to Belen and she called him to let him know he will not be getting a thing from my brother. Belen checked for us and the case was closed after she spoke to that detective. This is incredible what Belen did for us! We are forever in her debt.

Hire this one! I spoke to several other firms before using Belen, every other firm connected me to a non-attorney sales person who refused to allow me to speak with an attorney. All the others care about is how they are going to get paid. Belen was put on the call when I called at 7pm on a Saturday. Belen cared about my son, my son had a warrant for his arrest and did not even know this until he was pulled over and hauled off to jail. Belen went to the jail on Saturday, stood with my son in jail in-front of the jailhouse court Judge and told that judge how it was. My son walked out 2 hours later without paying a dollar for bail. Then the following week she called the prosecutor that she already knew, and was able to get the plea reinstated from years prior that resulted in the case being fully dismissed for ever. I also want to point out that her fees for everything were lower than other attorneys were trying to get me to pay over the phone.. I highly recommend Belen!
