Office staff are very young adults.

Understandable matters, some people go through financial problems. Extremely unprofessional, rude, left 4 different messages for Tammy transferred to 4 different departments trying to find out who to pitch me too!

After a creditor took advantage of my husband, this firm purchased his defaulted credit and without contacting us about repaying them, put a lien on our house. So when we sold our house, surprise! they took about triple of what was owed to them directly from the sale. With the state of the States, I'm sure people like this will never receive any repercussions and will continue to screw as many hard-working people out of as much money as possible.

While yes, they are a debt collector and that's not a popular line of work these days....I was very impressed by their professionalism and courteous demeanor every time i had to interact with them. I can't comment on how their employees are treated, but every individual I spoke with seemed happy and respectful.

Total Sleaze Bag Collection Agency! They have a bunch of Morons working as Paralegals who do not know their butt hole from a hole in the ground. Anyone who uses them.....even to collect a debt is just as sleazy as they are. I'm quite sure they rip their clients off as well!

Cannot go inside it is a secured facility that does collections. They pay there employees terribly and treat them like slaves.

I couldn't believe that they have dirty business strategy, buying your debt.Wasted mind to create the so called debt buying business. I don't really know this business when they choose to buy our identity.Our identify is in crisis because of Gurstel debt buying service.interestingly they legalized and involved some Court. Buying debt and justice at the same time to destroy poor people living in America. Ultimately making people homeless. I wait on Almighty judgement up on this business and supporting office.

Will take you back to court after reaching an agreement. Highly, recommend getting an lawyer immediately upon receiving correspondence from them regarding any issues.

Their time is valuable, however yours and the courts is of no value them. Will not return calls, correspondence or anything.

This law firm took me to court when I was in the hospital near death. Didnt care. Garnished my wages without my knowing.

This company has taken 1000$$ more than they should have. Its been 5months and they still havent returned it!

Biggest POS collection agency in the industry! Will not return calls. Will not work with payment arrangements! All they want is to go to court! They need to be investigated for violations of the fair credit reporting act.

Really awful firm. Purchased a medical debt from 5 years ago when i had a seizure. They wouldn't take my calls attempting to set up payments and instead filed for a judgement. instead of taking my calls and helping me come to some kind of terms with them they seized the money directly out of my bank account. I can afford it and i'll be fine but i GUARANTEE they are doing this to helpless elderly people with medical bills they can't pay in one lump sum. Scum of the earth in my book.

I really do not get how large banks do business with shady people. Make sure u get everything in writing even if you paid your whole dept. They are the worse, they will make sure to come back and sue you for something and put a judgement against you for no reason. I believe they are bored and want to stay busy.

I have been in touch with this company several times over the last few months. They are aware of my work status and living situation. I have promised to pay them as soon as I start working and have situated my financials. They continue to send latter's and drop court papers on the porch of a house that i use as a mailing address until i get my own place. Then the processor pejured stating the forms were handed to a resident at the address (no name) given of course. I feel that is a violation of my privacy, exposing my personal information to anyone that walks up on the porch. Very shady company and a very shady business to be involved in...shame on them!!

These people are like pawnshop owners. They make their money from other's misfortunes. The world would be a better place without them.

Violated my Civil Rights by Failure of Due Process. Apparently had judge sign off on order which allowed this firm to serve me by taping the paperwork to my front door. I never knew I had a court action against me until my paycheck was short. Further, this firm filed documents with the court stating they believed I had an alternate residence (which I never had) but clearly this shows they made very little attempt to serve me since I've lived in the same house for six years, and had they same work routine that entire time. Their underhanded methods cost me the opportunity to challenge or negotiate the debt. The judge no longer serves my district, nor county. Up next, Gurstel Law Firm.

Three letters, four voice message and two emails though their contact on website. No one has gotten back to me yet they are perusing court remedies. Maybe just trying to add attorneys fees on to debt?

This company makes me sick... I received a letter in the mail saying they are going to garnish my wages but this was supposably filed in April and I just got a letter in AUGUST regarding this! I don't understand how I've left voicemails in the past but never got a call back but oh they can go to court and file without noticing me what's going on with my account! This is so frustrating!!

They never answer the phone yet have time be serving people.

Some lady just banged so hard on my front door non stop with the bell ringing claiming she’s an officer was sent by the court looking for one of my ex-roommates with bunch of papers needed to be sign also she wanted to know my name to let the judge knows who she talked to like thats the only case he’s worry about. You guys need some ethics orientation before you hire people. You lack the professionalism in every aspect. I’m going to the court Monday with the papers she left to see if she’s an office was sent by Maricopa county

Though they were collecting debt.. Once I called them - all conversations I had with them were very pleasant. They were nice over the phone and told me how to go online & get it taken care of asap. Helpful phone reps.

Absolutely horrible. Sending money to them for a debt I owe and they still insist on filing complaints with the court for a wage garnishment, acting like I haven’t made any attempt to pay. Total scum company.

Horrible, you make an agreement with monthly payments, give them your bank account, they withdrawal by draft the payment every month AND they still file complaints against you with the court. They are evil.

Made numerous attempts to propose a settlement offer via their website. I got nothing but error messages telling me I had in correct information. 100% not the case.

I get letters from this place and the person does not live here. Very frustrating and annoying.

This and many other companies and law firms such as these are all considered 3rd parties. They buy credit files from companies who have charged them off and then try to collect on them. They cannot produce a single document with a signature from you stating that you borrowed anything from them or a promise to re-pay form signed by you. Therefore the debt will be considered invalid, when they try to issue a summons on you, you can easily fight the case with an invalidation process. These and other 3rd party scum bags are bullies and they prey on people. I have a solution and can help.

I hope you don't have a debt they collect on.
They are ruthless people that would rather garnish your wages then set you up on payments.
They don't care if you're in a hardship and will lose everything they want their money and will leave you anf your family on the street to get it

Very friendly and warm relaxed environment.

Everyone I met was nice and helpful, except the receptionist, Shaunee.

She told me immediately that they could not do the very thing that my case manager had just sent me there to do.

My case manager had just called 12 minutes earlier, and set up for me to meet the notary there. But Shaunee told me that they couldnt do that because the notary went home. We went back and forth and then she went back and looked like she was checking, but then came back and said the same thing. I asked for her to actually go and see if the notary really left, or get someone else to help. So she went, after making me stand in 104° heat for an extra 10-15 minutes. (Clients have to use the little window at the door, and stand outside).

Finally, a wonderful lady named Jackie came to the window, and was able to notarize everything and get 2 witnesses. So Shaunee had lied to me, and there was a notary there. (I could not easily go to my bank because Wells Fargo doesnt let their workers sign as witnesses any longer).

If I were the owner of Gurstel, I would not want a lazy, rude person like Shaunee, to be the face and gateway to my organization. This Shaunee girl would have made my life hell, and made me get in trouble with the law, just because she is lazy as heck, and doesn't care to do her job.
