I went to a consult with Oscar because of seeing all the great reviews that he had on Google. I also liked that he offered online scheduling for a 1 hour consultation. I was going through a divorce, and feeling scared and overwhelmed and in the initial consult he spent as much time as I needed to discuss the details of my case. He gave me great advice, and I ended up retaining his services. Throughout the whole process he was really great to work with. He kept me informed on details of the case and did a great job giving advice when I didn't know what to do. Because of him, I was able to stand up for myself and advocate for what I deserved from the divorce and actually get it. Mr. Gertsch did a great job for me in my divorce. From the initial consultation on they really set themselves apart. I was into my lengthy search for representation after moving here from Florida when finally I found someone who seemed to care about my situation and it paid off! There is no shortage of divorce attorneys, but finding the best fit for your particular situation can be a challenge. In my past experience, most attorneys do not seem to care or take the time to listen enough so their client feels as if they will be well represented. Mr. Gertsch listened to what was important to me and went about accomplishing that as efficiently as possible. I would highly recommend this law firm.

What a nightmare! This farce did not care about my children or the outcome of the case. I wasted so much on this fool!

I never have had to use an attorney. So I called several attorneys and Mr. Gertsch called back the same day. He explained the adoption process to us and the different avenues that may arise. He answered all of our questions. During the process he was easy to reach, and if not, he returned calls the same day. The process went the way he thought it would and explained to us. The only problem we had was sometimes the secured system he used for documents and emails did not go through.

Having faced custody issues in the past I had previously used another local attorney. I obviously considered and even preferred hiring the former attorney again because he knew my history and had always been successful. I, along with my family, decided to seek out someone who might be more acquainted with the unique aspects of our case. That is what drew me to Mr. Gertsch. His familiarity of having worked for the U.S. Army was a big draw. My case revolved around military orders and custody and I wanted someone who understood our position and was willing to vie accordingly. I was worried about hiring someone new but my fears were completely alleviated.

I have to take a moment to note Mr. Gertsch's ability and motivation to be compassionate and kind-hearted. It shows in his listening abilities and discernment. While he is an attorney and not a therapist he does WANT to understand what you are dealing with and he CARES about how it affects you and your case. It sets him apart in the legal field.

One thing that blew me away was at our court date... It was almost comical watching how calm, prepared and collected Mr. Gertsch was in comparison to the opposing counsel. Given the gravity of my case, I was a nervous wreck and struggling to focus on all the details but not once did my attorney seem at a loss for resource, confused or ill-prepared. His ability to remain polite, respectful and calm while the other attorney scrambled to keep up was truly impressive.

The best move I made was to pick up the phone that first time and call him "just to ask a few questions" to see if he might be right for my case.. He fit me in the same day and always made time for me and made me feel respected and understood.

Most notably, my case was successful and I could not have done it without Oscar Gertsch. Both a veteran and an everyday hero to our family!
