I hired Tom Mccormack in 2016 to handle a termination of temporary guardianship case I had extenuating circumstances surrounding my case. It has taken almost 3 yrs to get the case resolved I paid upfront and yes there were several times I was frustrated when my call wasn’t returned but guess what he’s not just got one case he has multiple clients. He resolved my case plus is helped my with a couple other legal avenues I asked about is is currently handling my mother probate case. He may be slow at getting things done but he definitely got me what I asked for in my case. I will hire him again if need be. and I do recommend him to anyone.

I hired Tom McCormick for my Divorce lawyer a year ago it with everything going on from the time i agreed for him to be lawyer and paid him in full he still hasnt got my divorce done his tried to send my divorce papers to my ex served at my address and he still hasnt gotten me divorced yet and its been almost two years and everything he said he was going to do he as went back on i dont recomend this office all they dont return phone calls at all i have had nothing but issues with this since i hired him the front desk lady as been nothing but rude to me due to me calling and asking question about my divorce that should of been over with a year ago im pretty sure they just wanted the money sad part is i dont have any kids with my ex and they still charged me more than they should

Please please stay away. He won’t fight for you. Does absolutely nothing but collects his fees. Then will fill you with excuses and drag your case out for ever. You’ll be left with nothing.

Please stay away if you are actually looking to get something done! He has been handling my fathers case since his accident in 2014. Since the accident he asked that he get paid so he can use this information as a bargaining chip to settle my fathers hospital bills. My father passed away in 2015 and here it is in 2018 and we still don’t have a settlement and he won’t return our phone calls. He still holds the rest of our fathers settlement money. He is a crook and a terrible lawyer when it comes to getting stuff done. I urge you to stay away!!!

I would have selected -5 stars if it were an option, Tom McCormack may very well be the worst experienced and unprepared lawyer in Georgia, his office alone will tell the story, cluttered and chaotic sums him up.
I had a very simple car wreck case which he dragged out for 5 years just for me to receive less than what the insurance company originally offered, I felt as if he was never on my side, I also made the mistake of allowing him to Handel my Chapter 7 bankruptcy, what a disaster!! after almost 2 years of getting nothing but excesses for the delays and requesting pay stubs every 3 months I still never got my case filed, I fired him and took my case to another local Lawyer( Scoot Tolbert) in only 6 days my case was filed and I had a court case and now its behind me, I would caution anyone from using Tom McCormack, unprepared, unprofessional, and one heck of an excuses machine. he comes off as a good ole boy with a big smile and charm, Don't be fooled.
