I am extremely pleased with Yeager Law! After going to another popular law firm and spending a significant amount of money to establish a Living Will and Trust, my father and I were notified that they would no longer represent us. I was in such a horrible situation. I was going through probate. I went to a paralegal that put me in such horrible situation . Thinking she was helping me, when I went to court the Judge took a double look at me and the paperwork and all the Judge said was get a Attorney. I was chosen by the family to act as administrator of the family estate. I was looking for a probate lawyer and didn't know how to best choose one when a card arrived via mail introducing Yeager Law. I called and made an appointment. After I left the appointment, I knew that I had our attorney, and I was really right. Mike and Yeager Law have been a Godsend. Not only were Mike and his staff very professional, friendly and most helpful, Mike himself was unlike any attorney that I had ever met. Not once did I ever feel like I was on a production line being rushed through my appointment. From our first meeting, he took time to go through the probate process while answering all of my questions without that rushed feeling. In fact, there were times, when I had to drop by and sign some paperwork. If I had any questions, and he wasn't busy with a client, he would take the time to answer my questions or address any issues to my satisfaction. I never left with any questions or issues on my mind. As a result, I was able to relieve my family of their fears and apprehensions. This reassurance has continued throughout the probate.
What really makes a difference is that we have already received the court's approval of our petition for distribution. It has only been one year. It would have been much sooner, but the court procedures have changed requiring more time to complete the process. I know that if I had tried to go it alone, it would have taken a lot longer than one year. Not only that, Mike has been educating me as we have gone through each stage of the probate process, and I am a whole lot more informed than when I first started the process.
From day one, I have trusted and felt confident in Mike and his law firm's ability to get me through the probate, and he has never done anything to cause me to change my mind. I would recommend and have recommended him to family, friends, and strangers.
When one considers the reason for probate and the loss that one has suffered, it really helps to have an understanding, compassionate law firm. And and this has truly been a very trying time for me and my family as we lost both parents within two months of each other. Working with Yeager Law has really helped us get through this process as easily as we have. This has been a direct result of their friendliness, courtesy, respect, and desire to help us during this most painful period of grieving.
There's a final perk to this probate, not only did I find a really excellent attorney, but I have made some new friends. This was most unexpected by me, and I am most grateful for the added bonus.

The service I received was caring, pleasant and thorough. Michael was able to tailor my Trust to fit my current needs (with a teenage son) but also make provisions for when he is old enough to be my successor Trustee; so that my Trust grows with my child. I didn't even know that was possible, I was expecting to have to revise my Trust in a few years. THIS is why an attorney is a better value than a legal aid service. I know my son's interests are protected now and in the future.

I initially made an appt to create a trust for myself and a family member. Michael was, initially, friendly. The "free" consultation turned in to " you should get something started now." Trusting him to get something done, we signed the contract and paid several hundred dollars for something that should have been super simple (which wasn't what we initially wanted but okay).

The following week Michael claimed he could not locate the information needed for our home. No matter the documentation provided he insisted that the information was not located in the system and we didn't have enough proof. My relative made one phone call and retrieved the information and where he could locate it. I informed Michael of this and he insisted that we were wrong. I asked him if was unable to complete the task or if it was out of his scope. He became defense and suggested terminating our contract with a refund...and no referrals.

Upon receipt of my refund, there was a nice nasty letter insisting that he was right and that we were wrong. My family member and I are both highly educated professionals who trusted another (presumed) professional to provide a service. Instead, we receive a condescending attitude from someone who couldn't admit that they didn't know what they were doing and refer us elsewhere.
