This firm performed well by helped me prepare for court hearing and mediated sessions, representing me in custody court hearings, and helped me re-write a poorly written parenting plan that we written by another firm. Their office personnel and attorneys acted professionally and explained everything to me so that I understood every stem along the way, even as I was recovering from a traumatic brain injury. They reason they did not get five stars is because, although I was a client for over two years, I had three different attorneys. They seemed to cycle through quicker than I would have thought was normal for a national firm.

**PLEASE READ BEFORE RETAINING**
This is my 1st review (positive or negative) i have ever left on google but, i chose this firm based on their good reviews and after this experience i felt i had no other choice... 1st, its my understanding that for ALL clients this firm requests audio cds for all prior hearings related to your case, which is fine. It took my attorney 3 months to actually obtain these cds and im not sure if they were ever listened to. After speaking with the attorney it was understood my case would be quick and not much to it, yet 3 months in and $1500 later i realized all my billings really contained were reviews between the attorney amd firm supervisor, i also emailed the attorney repeatedly and did not hear back for a full month, and saw ZERO work being done towards my case, not a drafted motion, no contacts to the opposing party, nothing but charges to obtain these audio cds and reviews of my case. i then asked the attprney to please stop all work and asked for her to withdraw from my case. I was then told by her that we would need to possibly need to schedule a hearing for her to withdrawl and conveniently most of my $1500 retainer was eaten up trying to get the attorney to withdraw...I retained my attorney in Oct. 2017 and by Jan. 2018 i saw no progress being made, i spoke to the attorney, the firm supervisor and most recently 3 calls from the resolution center in St. LOUIS, I was told i would receive my complete file (with any work that WAS done),( I was told this by both the firm supervisor AND from the lady in St. LOUIS). Also theyd return $60 of my $1500 retainer, 6 MONTHS LATER I HAVE NOT RECEIVED EITHER AND I AM NOW OUT A TOTAL CLOSE TO $3000, And by my understanding NO legitimate work was ever done towards my case besides obtaining these audio cds...Please beware as my initial $100 consulatation went excellent and i was moved to retain an attorney based on the assurance and confidence i received at that initail consulatation, the problem is the attorney who gives consultations does not even actually accept cases, so i was actually stuck with a nightmare, lost $3000 and cannot reach any resolution, ALL i was asking for was to be represented in an honest, open, timely and truthful manner and i do not believe ANY of these were met...please contact me with any further questions and ill be glad to share with you on how i feel i was legally robbed by these crooks...**BEWARE**

I am pro-se because I have no money. My husband is using this firm and they refuse to answer my questions and told me they have no obligation to me. My husband refuses to give his whole discovey( pay stubs & bank statements) but before they requested my Discovery they actually subpoenaed my job for pay records. They are letting their client stahl but are refusing to amswer my quejstions and threaten me....... They even threated me paying for his attorney fees. If I had money I would hire my own attorney. These guy are BULLYS!!!

I had to fire Cordell & Cordell and hire/retain new counsel halfway through my divorce due to lack of progress, communication; billing and ethical concerns. Please seek counsel elsewhere.

YOU'VE BEEN WARNED

Fathers Beware. Worst law firm for fathers rights. Absolute trash representation. Their commercials are nothing more than false advertising and lies. Hire anyone else in town!! Cordell and Cordell is a disgusting law firm who champion themselves on fathers rights but in reality are a garbage company who care more about lining their pockets. There is nothing good about this company. I cannot express this enough.

They are more then happy to take your money, with nothing to show for it. If you ask them for an itemization to see what they hell they are charging for, they disregard your request. They only communication you will receive is the billing department.

Amy Bailey from Cordell and Cordell is amazing!!!! She has represented me for the past 4 years against overbearing, dilusional grandparents! She is worth every penny and has had taken my daughter's best interest and safety into consideration since day one! This firm is very professional and answers any questions that arise in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend them, especially Amy Bailey to ANYONE that needs legal help.

Divorce is exhausting and mine has lasted over 4 years, Cordell and Cordell is my third firm. My first two cost me a lot of money, didn't deliver, prolonged my case and told me what I wanted to hear. What you need in an attorney is a strong advocate for you, not BS'er. You need someone who is tough in court, who knows how to negotiate with both opposing counsel and court-appointed third parties and lastly, who will provide you with excellent advice in a cost-effective manner. Yes, you can ignore their advice and I did on two occasions with Camille Pedrick and my decisions ended up costing me more money both times because I didn't listen.

Camille is an excellent attorney, she is extremely knowledgeable in family law, she is excellent in court, spot-on in negotiations, truly honest with me, and she has also been compassionate and overall Camille represents what every client should want and expect from their attorney. She has delivered everything she told me in our first meeting, over a year ago. If I could do the whole thing over, I wish I would have started with Camille, she would have saved me tens of thousands of dollars, it would have been over far sooner and most importantly, she would have delivered on what she said.

My experience was not good. I feel I was over charged for services rendered. They continued to charge my credit card after I released them. They sent redundant emails with attached charges to them. We had meetings which I was charged for. Then charged time for emails stating the same things we discussed during meetings. They missed appointment time without notification. After several thousands of dollars I hired another firm who represented my case for a fraction of the cost. (Less then half).

I just heard a commercial stating they will provide documents about your kids for free if your a divorced man. Why not for women also? Women have been taking care of their kids for centuries without men when they decide to ditch out. Why not do this for men and women? Doesnt seem right.

Not good service at all. Took a very long time to hear anything back. Always called to get an update and was never ever able to get ahold of the lawyer. Never gave us updates on the case. Left tons of voicemails and never called back. Started with them in May and in October, not a single thing was done to case. Finally just canceled it.

These folks may be a little bit on the pricey side by Albuquerque standards, but if your goal is to protect your rights as a father, it's worth every penny.
Try not to be alarmed by the fact that among the firm's most notable attorneys are woman (including the lead attorney in the Albuquerque office). In a time when it's fashionable to present crude stereotypes of men as bullies, it's essential to have a woman speaking on your behalf, both in litigation and in court.
